Name: Meagan Starr (AKA Night) Species: Humanish Gender: Female Age: 27 Birthday: May 19th Sexual Orientation: Bi-Curious Native Language: Agentine (An offshoot of latin of my own design.) Secondary Language: Common
Physical Description: The most remarkable thing about her was her eyes. They are speckled white in a deep sea of navy, with white pupils that mirror the moon – in the new moon, they are totally black, in a crescent wedged just slightly silver, and in a full moon, they are completely white. They are a perfect replication of the night sky.
Besides this small detail, she’s rather unremarkable. She stand’s at 5’6, with another 4 feet added in length by her black/brown, wolf-like tail. Her ears, the same color as her tail (And, consequentially, her curly hair), are six inches tall, also very canine-like in build.
She has a trim sort of body structure, and although she is obviously feminine, she lacks the sloping curves of the perfect female body. Instead, she has slight hips and a decent amount of chest, though certainly not enough for her to be considered above average. She does seem to have built up quite a bit of muscle tone, as well as a good tan from working outside – though she can’t tell you what she was doing outside, as she doesn’t remember for the life of her.
Her countenance is rather average – a strait nose, freckled cheeks, and a heart-shaped face. She has a few laugh lines at the edge of her eyes now, alluding to her friendly and easy-going personality.
Across the back of her right hand, she has a faint scar int he shape of letters that read "Night." This is her only clue to her past identity. She assumes this to be her name.
Her closet features mostly t-shirts and jeans, with a few pairs of khaki or plaid shorts and tank tops thrown in there at random. She mostly wears a worn pair of boots or blue plaid converse, though she can rarely be seen in heels and a dress if the occasion calls for it. She also is never seen without her backpack – a blue and white canvas bag with the Starr family insignia on the front and side flaps – unless the situation absolutely demands it.
Mental and/or Social Description: Well, the vast part of her old personality seems to have been wiped out by the amnesia – she’s no longer shy, which by itself has made a huge difference. She seems much more eager to meet people – especially people that might be able to tell her about her past, from which she has little to no recollection.
Night is very laid back and calm; not a whole lot gets her terribly troubled. She does seem to have retained her sense of adventure, along with her somewhat nervous disposition. She loves books, and she loves drawing – another thing that she retained, and that her old friends from the crossroads may remember of her.
She still has a crushing phobia of water – just the idea of getting into a lake or a pool makes her squirm inside. She can tolerate showers and bathtubs, of course, but something about water in general makes her uncomfortable. Though really, she just can’t for the life of her remember why…
Night has a love of all things cute and fuzzy – vulticus, balgor, felusine, you name it! She just loves it. It also makes her more inclined towards trusting mammalians, though this may have something to do with her past as well. Not that she would remember.
It really was difficult to have amnesia.
Goals: Remember who the hell she is Go Beyond (Again?)
Stats: Stamina: 3 Strength: 3 Resistance: 4 Dexterity: 3 Mentality: 3
Attribute: Instinct
Instinct – Much like an animal, you have a seemingly natural ability to survive in the world - you get get an bonus of 4 skill points to spend in the Skill Group of Survival at the time of character creation. You also gain 'Survival' as a bonus Skill group.
Traits:
Amnesia – gives a bonus of 1 trait point (6 + 1 = 7) You simply can't remember your past! You also seek to find out about it, giving you a driving goal (which will never be acheived).
Phobia – gives a bonus of 3 trait points (7 + 3 = 10) Absolute mindless terror of a particular thing.. be it enclosed spaces, heights, spiders, or the number 17... You will do anything in your power to avoid this thing - you might go so far as to jump out a 12 story window to get away from that itsy bitsy spider, so it's best to try to keep a "lid" on your phobias.
Jack of all Trades – costs 6 trait points (10 – 6 = 4) You don't pick Skill Groups at all - for you, all skills grow at equal rates.. so there's no negative for "non group skills". Ambidextrous – costs 1 trait point (4 – 1 = 3) You're skilled at using both of your hands equally. This is required for many types of two handed fighting.
Turtle's Blessing – costs 2 trait points (3 – 2 = 1) You can withstand more damage than the "normal" of your species.. Perhaps it's just 'cause it takes longer for you to feel the pain - you get a permenant +1 bonus to resistance.
Cat's Balance – costs 1 trait point (1 – 1 = 0) You can never be caught off balance.. usually.. Climbing trees is much easier for you, and so is tight-rope walking, though, you still can't do it without practice. You never, ever trip over your own feet, that's for sure.
