Xinra's voice faded away, though the chords of the guitar continued to ring out. Her eyes were wandering the sky, watching as birds flow over head, her legs no longer moving as she just stood there, in the middle of the clovers, the Wotchers nearby.

Savannah was proceeding to rip the leaf that she was chasing earlier to shreds, having caught it before Hanukkah, who was now sniffing through the clovers, trying to find something. When she did, she pounced on it, causing some dry dust to float into the air, accompanied by another leaf, this one lighter in color, becoming the new object of interest for the two Wotchers. Xinra just smiled as she watched them.

Xinra followed the two Wotchers slowly, the creatures just ahead of her, jumping to try and catch the leaf with their teeth, or batting at it with their paws. They were going to be so worn out soon, Xinra decided, the tune floating from the guitar shifting to something slower, as though trying to hypnotize the creatures into feeling tired.

The Wotchers took no notice. Instead, they gave purrs of delight as Hanukkah managed to catch to leaf in her teeth then took off back the way they had come, Savannah hot on her tail.

Xinra sat beneath the tree once again, just before the Wotchers shot past. If she hadn't of sat down, she probably would've been taken out by the small, hyperactive cat-like creatures, who had abandoned their leaf chasing and settled for a simple game of Tag.

The Avian had stopped playing, leaning her guitar against the tree, watching the sky. The sun was almost done, though it wasn't cold, which was a good thing as she hadn't brought any warm clothing. She wore only a pair of thin pants, having no need for a shirt, and her shoes, just like normal. She had figured she would've left by sunset, anyway, so she hadn't bothered.

It was dark, now. The sun had disappeared beyond the horizon, but the moon had not yet begun its rise into the sky. The temperature had dropped considerably, causing Xinra to curse rather loudly, scaring her Wotchers slightly.

The two creatures were curled up on her lap, seemingly leeching her warmth from her, recuperating what energy they had lost during the past couple of hours of games. The Avian doubted they would be moving anywhere until the moon was fully risen and had lit up what was now completely dark. The only thing that could be seem was the faint depth of each clover, blurring more and more as it got further from where they sat.

Xinra wasn't sure how long she had been asleep, but it felt like she had only just closed her eyes. The moon was high in the sky, and Hanukkah was sitting out away from the shelter of the tree, Savannah still curled up on the Avians lap. Carefully, Xinra curled her arms around the tabby Wotcher, and stood, carrying Savannah carefully.

Savannah had a tendency to sleep through anything. Hanukkah, however, was always outside looking at the moon, always able to recover her energy quicker than seemed possible.

Xinra walked quietly through the clovers, Hanukkah trotting along at her feet, subconsciously petting the Wotcher curled up in her arms. It was silent. Even the sound of their feet brushing through the plants wasn't enough to break the stillness of the silver night.

The moon was a giant orb in the sky, so large that the Avian had to lie down to see the edge of the night around the silver light. Everything glowed in the silver light of the moon.

Xinra's gaze was locked on the giant orb in the sky, while Hanukkah had her nose running along the ground, just beneath the clover leaves, trying to sniff out some of the different creatures that many people looked for within the clovers.

Xinra's hand moved mechanically along the back of the Wotcher she still held. She didn't need to worry about waking her up, seeing as Savannah was a heavy sleeper, but she was still cautious, as she knew that what the young Wotcher saw in her sleep was affected by things that she heard around her.

Hanukkah stopped, her muzzle buried in the clovers, before lifting up and towards Xinra, giving a light squeak to get her attention. Feeling the wotcher in her arms twitch slightly in response to the call, Xinra stopped and looked back at the awakened Wotcher. "Wha' is i', yo," She said softly, walking back towards Hanukkah and crouching down beside her.

She gave a soft chuckle as she noticed what the creature held in her mouth. "D' ya wan' me t' hol' on'o i', yo," she said with a light smile, holding her palm out, catching the oddly shaped, smoothened pebble in it as Hanukkah dropped it into her hand.

Standing again, Xinra pocketed the small pebble, shaped like softened, rounded heart, alongside the flashy piece of foil she had collected off the creature earlier, and began walking amongst the clovers again, still petting Savannah.

Hanukkah trotted just ahead of Xinra, her nose running along the tops of the clover leaves this time, pausing occasionally to overturn one of the leaves with a paw to check if there was anything underneath them, before continuing on, managing to keep ahead of her Avian companion.

Xinra stopped where she stood, carefully switching the weight of the Wotcher onto just one arm to give her other a moments rest before switching and doing the same for the other arm before carefully lifting the Wotcher up towards her head. Carefully, after moving her hair out of the way, she lay the Wotcher across her shoulders, moving her hair over it like a blanket.

After making sure the Wotcher wouldn't fall from her shoulders, the Avian looked around her carefully, wondering where the other one had disappeared to. She soon spotted Hanukkah, trotting towards her calmly, an object sitting in the grip of her mouth.

"Wha' ya go' ther', Hanukkah, yo," Xinra spoke softer than before, since her voice would sound a lot louder to the Wotcher now spread across her shoulders than before. The Avian crouched down, once again holding out her hand, opened and palm up.

The Avian held up her hand to inspect the item once it was dropped from Hanukkah's mouth. "A three leaf clov'r, yo," she said softly. "Tha's rath'r... in'eresting, y'know."

Xinra reaching into one of her many pockets on her pants, pulling out a thin silver chain, a small glass circular panel hanging from it. Carefully, the Avian used a talon-like fingernail to open the glass locket and slipped the three-leafed clover inside it, snapping it shut, making it airless and airlocked.

Making sure the chain of the necklace was short enough, the Avian carefully slipped it around Hanukkah's neck, doing the chain up at the back so it sat snugly, the pendant sitting squarely on the Wotchers chest, the clover standing out clearly against her brown-gold fur through the polished glass.

Hanukkah looked up at the Avian, a smile in her eyes. She shifted her gaze to her younger tabby companion, who still slept soundly, her eyes flickering beneath her eyelids as she dreamed.

"I hav' anoth'r pend'nt 'nd chai' f'r Savannah, y'know," Xinra said softly, petting Hanukkah softly, scratching her lovingly behind the ears, eliciting a light purr from the cat-like creature. "Why don' ya go fin' somethin' f'r h'r, yo." Hanukkah gave a light nod before turning and trotting off, looking through the clovers.

The Avian stood slowly, a hand rising to pet Savannah softly. She gave a soft smile, glad that both of her Wotchers got on perfectly fine. She had some trouble with a couple of creatures back at the Labs, so she loved coming to the Freehold to spend time with her Wotchers, who, currently, only had each other to call company while she was away.

Xinra looked over the Clover Fields, trying to spot out her Wotcher. It would be a lot easier, as long as Hanukkah's neck showed above the clover heads and it wasn't shaded. She had chosen a specific metal, a polished silver, so that it would reflect all lights, especially moonlight.

The Avians gaze stopped, spotting a light glint not to far away from the tree where her guitar sat, bathed in moonlight. The reflection of the chain wasn't moving, safe for side to side as the Wotchers muzzle worked through the clovers, searching for something.

Xinra began to make her way towards the glinting necklace of the Wotcher, wondering what Hanukkah had found. As she practically glided through the clovers silently, she heard a slight disturbance from the Wotcher stretched along her shoulders, her hands quickly flying up to reposition Savannah as she moved, almost falling to a certain painful injury, and a possible death.

Slipping the Wotcher from across her shoulders, letting her stretch out along on of her arms, boxing the wotcher in with her free arm so that the tabby wouldn't fall. She soon noticed that Hanukkah was heading towards her, the moonlight reflecting off her eyes, lighting up the object she gently held in her mouth.
