Pets: Evumeilei (Eclipse Amphadron) / Chuchi (Sugarplum Lasiobel)

Physical Description: Standing at 5’1” despite his age and lack of further growth, the new dockmaster is a skinny and lithe little figure, rather like a bundle of toothpicks than anything substantial. Upon closer inspection, his twig-like limbs are actually quite wiry, the product of swimming more often than his own amphadron cares to. Naturally his hair is a dirty blonde in color, but constant exposure to the sun and water has bleached it shades lighter, and the sparse amount of times a scissor has been put to his hair has left it shaggy and unkempt, practically covering his eyes and completely hiding his ears rather effectively. (Another reason why he leaves his hair the way it is – if he ever actually got it cut, his forehead and ears would be exposed in all their milk-white glory to the world, and then subsequently burnt to a crisp. This is why he doesn’t plan on doing it anytime soon.) Which is a shame, seeing as his eyes are a lovely strange color, an encompassing green encroaching on the gold around his pupils. But it’s his easy smile that catches people, and it melds smoothly into the gracefully arching contours of his face that don’t seem completely human and make his face appear lean and a bit unearthly.
He’s most likely to be seen in a sleeveless article of clothing and board shorts, occasionally with flip flops, most often simply barefoot, and alternatively covered in patches of bronzed, burnt, and peeling skin. (Despite his preferences to the outside world, his skin wasn’t exactly made for the amount of time he spends there.) Wrapped around his ankle without fail is a magical blue ribbon, presumably of telepathy, that’s tied in a knot in the back and front so that the ends don’t dangle and it stays on securely. Other than that, he usually doesn’t have any else on him besides his whistle and underwater amulet.
Because despite his perfect memory, he always seems to be losing his ID card.

Mental and/or Social Description: One of the first things readily apparent about Jonah is that he’s well-mannered; and we’re not talking about when meeting new people, we’re talking about exceedingly polite in every single situation you could think of. You could be chewing off his arm and he’d be all, ‘Erm, I know you seem rather hungry and I’d love to help you with that but if you could please let go of my arm we’d maybe be able to settle this with a bit less gore?’ Well bred, this one is, and it’s a hard habit to break. But he’s also ridiculously curious, to the point where it can start threatening his life (hence the previously stated scenario) and he won’t be able to do a thing about it because he can’t help himself. Which makes Evvy’s job of being overprotective and left alone that much harder, but Jonah will just start smiling away and all will be mostly and reluctantly forgiven. He’s got that effect on people – whether it’s his charming looks, his general contentedness, or his easy way with smiles and words, he’s quite personable and is always willing to lend a helping hand in any situation, whether its advice or more physical involvement (again, reference above scenario). His intense optimism and near fearlessness make his insatiable thirst for knowledge a bit threatening to his well-being, but with Evvy around he manages to come out alright. He can be firm when he needs to be, although he doesn’t like having to do so, and he’s an avid reader (if he’s come onto dry land for a brief spell, chances are he’s got a book in his hands).

Goals: Learn everything that he possibly can cram into his brain, and then turn himself into a fish. (There are reasons why Evvy questions his intelligence every so often). To also keep the docks running nicely of course, and to help out where he can in terms of aquatics and water-associated critters.

[They've thrown their moronic pet-thing into the lake and now it's drowning. After I save it, should I simply throw in its owner instead ...?]
"No Evvy ...all types of drownings are bad, especially purposeful ones."
[Not if they're warranted.]
"*sigh*"
