These are the rules that have to deal with the
Trading Area.
1. All pets you trade must be in your kennel (or home) before you trade them away.
There is no "I had them on wordpad" allowed, sorry. Only when you FIRST join the site may you bring any pets you saved from any other sites or documents.
Any breaking of this rule will be considered
stealing.
2. You may not trade non-MML things for MML things.
You may trade only credits, other MML pets, or MML items for MML pets or items.
This means you may NOT trade other pets or items, 'game site' currency, art, or anything else for MML pets or items.
3. You are not allowed to trade pets, credits, or items for USD.
You may not sell pets, items, or credits for USD. Period.
You may sell pets, items, or credits for people to purchase things from
the shop for you, though. This includes all item and pet orders in that area.
4. "Duplicating" pets is not allowed.
If you have more than one of it, and you try to trade one away without getting rid of the other, it will be considered duplication. Now, this is a complicated rule in a way. Not a lot of people understand it, so here are some specific scenarios that make the above a little more complicated than it sounds.
- If you adopt two eggs, and trade only one of them away while you keep the other, it is duplication, because you are 'duplicating' the creature in question for free,
- If you receive one pet in a trade, and owned one previously, you may sell either or both and it will
not be duplication, because you paid for both.
- If you received more than one Orbaru, Lola Pachee offspring from a breeding, you may sell each one individually and it will
not be duplication, because you earned both.
- If you bought more than one VSC, market pet, or something similar, and sell one or both, it will
not be duplication, because you paid for both.
5. You may not sell duplicates of custom items or pocketpets.
When you purchase a (nonfunctional) custom item or pocketpet, you are able to give copies of that item or pocketpet to other people freely. You are not allowed to sell those copies or trade them for pets, items, or other pocketpets.
However, you are able to sell an item or pocketpet that you have not 'made copies' of so far. When you do so, you give the new owner the one and only copy of that item, and you no longer have a copy for yourself afterward.
6. All trade conditions
must be met.
First of all, you must pay for what you receive. For example, if someone agrees to pay 15 credits for someone's Vulpine Vulticus, but never make the transfer, the Vulpine will be taken from them, and given back to it's original owner.
Some trades (and some breedings) come with conditions. These conditions must be met. If they are not met, the trade will be reversed. You are considered accepting these conditions at the time of the trade. Conditions or restrictions attached to a pet are considered part of the payment when a trade is made.
This will be taken care of on a case by case basis, of course, as reversing a trade is never an easy thing to do. If you feel that your conditions have not been met, or you have not been paid for a pet, please contact me so I can help you with it.
