Sometimes I find myself a bit nervous when President Obama and VP Biden start talking about needing to spend our way out of bankruptcy. Honestly, can you image any American successfully using that logic with their own banker? What President Obama is attempting to do is to keep the U.S. economy hanging on long enough for the recession to end and good times to return. While that is a likely to happen, there is a possibility that the United States has already gone into debt too far to recover as it has in recessions past. For far too long, the U.S. government has spent money that it does not have to prop up an unattainable lifestyle for most Americans. In fact, I will say this - what we have just witnessed in Detroit with the big three automobile company's could be just the opening round of what most Americans will face in the near future.
