| QUOTE (Abraxas @ May 8 2006, 04:51 AM) | | I just have to say... if the two of them were ever in the same room together, and I happened to be there too, I might just die of hotness overdose. Add Alan Rickman to the equation and I'd turn into a puddle of goo. |
Ooooh, Alan Rickman....Most people (that I know) who know who that is would think that fairly disgusting. But, then again, I don't consider myself even semi-normal. I've seen quite a few of his movies, though I know him best for Harry Potter.... Galaxy Quest, Dogma, his voice in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... Oh, yeah, Gooiness.
Hmmm.....Know of any other British guys?

Hmmm. Well, Stephen Fry isn't exactly sexy, but he is incredibly charming. He was the voice of the Guide in HGG. *side note* Did you know that Hugh was supposed to play Arthur Dent? Douglas Adams (who wrote the book) wanted Hugh for the part-- he would have been perfect, too, when you look at those pictures of him in the robe lol. He also wanted Jim Carrey to play Zaphod, I think. But then Douglas died and whoever made the movie cast someone else. Bugger. *end side note*
Other British guys I have a liking for include Brian May (guitarist for the best band ever: Queen), David Bowie (Labyrinth, anyone?), Anthony Hopkins, Christian Bale (Velvet Goldmine, Newsies, American Psycho, Batman Begins), and Joe Elliot (lead singer for Def Leppard). And Elton John is wonderful too. Not drool-worthy, but flamboyantly fantastic. And Mike Myers' parents were from Enlgand, so he sort of counts, teehee

Did anyone see the Eddie Izzard marathon yesterday on BBC? It was great. All of his stand-up routines, with my personal favorite, Dress To Kill. I think I Tivoed all of it! Though if you missed it, just look up all of his stuff on youtube.
