Just like Hugh Laurie! :D Yeah, I have to admit, Eddie's not that bad. I saw him in Ocean's Twelve. I'd hug him.

I just have to say... if the two of them were ever in the same room together, and I happened to be there too, I might just die of hotness overdose. Add Alan Rickman to the equation and I'd turn into a puddle of goo.

And how about Christian Bale?
I think there needs to be a "Hot British Men" convention, where all of them just stand there so we lowly peons can stare and drool.

Ooooh, Alan Rickman....Most people (that I know) who know who that is would think that fairly disgusting. But, then again, I don't consider myself even semi-normal. I've seen quite a few of his movies, though I know him best for Harry Potter.... Galaxy Quest, Dogma, his voice in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... Oh, yeah, Gooiness.

Hmmm.....Know of any other British guys?

Hmmm. Well, Stephen Fry isn't exactly sexy, but he is incredibly charming. He was the voice of the Guide in HGG.
*side note*
Did you know that Hugh was supposed to play Arthur Dent? Douglas Adams (who wrote the book) wanted Hugh for the part-- he would have been perfect, too, when you look at those pictures of him in the robe lol. He also wanted Jim Carrey to play Zaphod, I think. But then Douglas died and whoever made the movie cast someone else. Bugger.
*end side note*

Other British guys I have a liking for include Brian May (guitarist for the best band ever: Queen), David Bowie (Labyrinth, anyone?), Anthony Hopkins, Christian Bale (Velvet Goldmine, Newsies, American Psycho, Batman Begins), and Joe Elliot (lead singer for Def Leppard).
And Elton John is wonderful too. Not drool-worthy, but flamboyantly fantastic.
And Mike Myers' parents were from Enlgand, so he sort of counts, teehee

Hey, through my alerts to articles that mention Hugh Laurie, I found an article about Eddie Izzard and I thought you all might be interested. From what I can gather (I have to admit I didn't read the whole thing; I was only looking for Hugh's name), he's doing or planning on doing a show in the U.S. Anyway...

I Swear It's Not Gordon

Side Note to Abraxas: Stephen Fry is also the narrator in the Harry Potter movies supposedly. And it would have been awesome if Hugh and Jim Carrey were Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Too bad. There'll be remakes eventually ;)

Yup, I think I've read that article before... The show, the Riches, looks very interesting. I think it premieres 6th March on FX. I'm excited!

I've got an even longer article now, if you're interested. For the most part, it seems to be about Eddie deciding to try the market in the U.S. and trying to be seen as a serious actor after his old comedy days. As you may have guessed, he cited Hugh as an example of someone who has succeeded. Enjoy!

Did anyone see the Eddie Izzard marathon yesterday on BBC? It was great. All of his stand-up routines, with my personal favorite, Dress To Kill. I think I Tivoed all of it! Though if you missed it, just look up all of his stuff on youtube.
