I don't want you to feel left out here. Computers have been exploding left and right here this week and I've only had time to read at lunch. I promise I'll get yours read at lunch today. I don't know if you've made any major changes to it since it was a WIP but I'm gonna read it anyway!!
Be back around 1:00!!
Yeah sure, 1:00 <_<
I love the perky comment. That is a Houseism if I ever heard one!! Even if it was only in his head
I think it's neat that she takes him on and he's irritated, but you present it as a different kind of annoyance. Not his normal people are lying morons type of irritation. I get the impression he'd find her interesting in a different setting.
Seems like this is leading somewhere, are you sure this is it?!

I'm *hoping* he'll find her interesting...! :)
It *is* leading somewhere. I have a storyline in mind, and I actually have quite a few more scenes pounded out, but I find it difficult to write in chapters... what I have is scattered, with a lot of stuff left to fill in between. I come up with new ideas for the later sections, and have to go back and plant the seeds in the earlier parts.
Plus the medical mystery (what little I have in mind) is something that happened in the past, so the mystery-solving will be probably be boring -- going through patient histories and doing research and stuff -- no experimental medications to try on a guinea pig and learn from....
If anyone's familiar with the movies "A Civil Action" or "Erin Brockovich," I have something in mind along those lines... but haven't had time to do research on the details and then contort them into something that House & Co. can solve....
I dunno... should I post what I've got...? Maybe we can get a group collaboration thing going?

Sure, the WIP area is really good for that. Just be sure to let people know what kind of advice you're looking for. Auditrix is really good with the medical stuff. And everyone else is really generous and helpful with a little prompting. I know I hate to jump in but will if asked. So give it a try!
