In broad daylight today - Tackrooms broken into and 8 saddles stolen.
All tack rooms padlocked. Bolt cutters used.
Believe white transit van used (seen going down farm track at speed with 3 male youths in front)
Please take care.. No ones tack is safe..

Just glad none of the staff saw & disturbed them whilst it was happening. They could have been hurt..

Sounds like the same gang going round Monk Fryston area a couple of weeks ago - Hillam Feeds have some CCTV pics of 2/3 yobs on display if you want to check them out. A few yards round the Selby/Pollington (including Homestead) have been hit . I think a black mini has also been seen at the same time.

Info received apparently another yard done over recently not too far away from ours... Week before it was burgled a woman in a silver mercedes went looking around yard saying she was wanting a stable..showed a lot of interest in the whole yard.. She never returned but they were burgled. could be coincidental but if not & a merc turns up at your yard please take note of the reg.number...
