The only, the far best simulator game is the Freespace 2. The grapics little old, and dont so shining as today, but the story, and the gameplay is something breath taking, something far more wonderful then any other
I still clearly remember the last mission, when you help to evacuate a system which is attacked by a huge horde of alien fleet. The hardest, biggest space fight was there what I ever seen ingame, and then suddenly the Commander inform us the sun is blowed up by the Raksha fleet (they are the aliens) and a massive shockawave is coming. You have a tight minute to reach the hyperspace point until the shockwave blast catch you, and you vaporize there... In the last ten second everything become brighter, as the blast is coming for you. That is fanatastic feeling as you escaped
