A week before his upcoming Tag Title match, Roman Reigns squared off against the very dominant HCW Champion in Kevin Harris. The match had it's twists and turns, but in the end Reigns pulled off the huge upset with The Checkmate from out of nowhere. Will this win propel him to some championship gold? Or was that win over the HCW Champion merely a fluke?
CM Punk's Farewell Tour Triumphs!
The CM Punk Farewell Tour rolled on this past weekend as Punk picked up huge victory's over two larger than life superstars, Matt Thayer and John Cena. With Punk standing at 5-0 on the Farewell Tour so far, he looks to keep the streak going heading into this weekend where on Friday he challenges the returning Jason Evans, where nobody knows what to expect from Evans! and on Saturday, Punk stares across the ring at Prince Devitt in what will be a technical and competitive match all around, which is by the way a 2 out of 3 Falls Match! Will Evans be able to surprise Punk on Friday? Will Prince Devitt take the life out of CM Punk on Saturday? Or will CM Punk rise above one more weekend and head into the weekend of SummerSlam with a perfect record this month?
In the battle of two generations, Noah Daniels and Shawn Michaels look to seal off their rivalry with a sentimental match for the mask that holds Daniels' real identity. At Summerslam, Noah Daniels and Shawn Michaels (Now declaring himself as Shawn "Minute Man" Michaels) will go at it in a ladder match to determine the final holder of the Minute Man mask. Prior to that match, however, Daniels and Michaels must meet at the contract table, and sign off on their match to officially sanction it, because it proves to be a match with violence written all over it!
two top contenders
On Saturday Night Anarchy, Matt Thayer was able to pick up a solid win and defeated Shawn "Minute Man" Michaels in a match that solidified himself as one of the top contenders to the World Heavyweight Championship. Earlier in the night, Nathan Nero was part of a very controversial match with Goldberg and his loss was amnestied. General Manager Shane McMahon made a ruling via the HCW site stating that Nero would in fact be allowed to compete the following week against Thayer in a final showdown to determine the contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. The road has been trying for McMahon, as he has plucked at straws the entire month, but is finally content with his final two contenders. Find out who picks up the big win to face Seth Rollins at Summerslam on the next Anarchy!
Titles on the line
The Impromptu duo of Noah Daniels and Warrior CK have had their own problems as of late. On one of the more recent editions of Saturday Night Anarchy, the two seemed to split up but have patched up their issues since then. However the relationship of the Tag Team Champions will be put to the test this Friday on Endurance, when the #1 Contenders to their titles, Kingdom of Justice challenge them. This new team consists of 2012 Habbo Royale and King of the Ring winner, Matt Thayer, and his new ally "The Hound of Justice" Roman Reigns. In the weeks leading up to Summerslam, this match is sure to be a great one!
The War Wages On
John Cena continued his war with FEAR Saturday after losing to CM Punk in his Farewell Tour. Cena emerged from the crowd and entered the ring during a match between the Undertaker and his brother, Kane. The two had got into a mini-feud the past week and were attempting to settle their differences when Cena dropped in on the party. Cena nailed the Undertaker with his steel chain, planting him to the mat with an Attitude Adjustment. After that, Cena made his intentions clear as he picked up the United States Championship. Cena sensed the presence of Kane, moved out of the way of the Big Red Machine, and hit him with the title.
After laying out the brothers, Cena went on for a bit, trash talking the current United States Champion. When Cena prepared to state, "The Champ is here!," The Undertaker suddenly sat up, followed by his brother, Kane. It is obvious that Cena now has two enemies and will face them in a tag team match next week, or, if Cena is unlucky, a Handi-cap Match!
Intercontinental match set!
Chris Hero had grown tired of the weeks of humiliation and beat downs at the hands of not only the Intercontinental Champion, Kyle O'Reilly, but the rest of Mount Rushmore. So he took matters into his own hands, not only calling out O'Reilly but giving him a well deserved beatdown of his own. There would of been some serious damage done to O'Reilly if it wasn't for FNE General Manager Matt Audet intervening. While Hero may not of been satisfied with stopping, he was more than pleased to hear that he got two things that he wanted: A Intercontinental Championship match at Summerslam, and that his elbow was no longer banned from us.
Pick Your Poison
For weeks, Bray Wyatt and Kenta Kobashi have been going at one another, so it was decided that they would meet in the ring to try to hash out their differences. Shane McMahon posed as the moderator for this meeting in the ring and stated that if either individual struck the other, they would instantly be fired.
The two individuals shot words of insult back and forth at one another, leaving the crowd extremely anxious to see what they would do. In the end, Wyatt found a loophole and had Luke Harper and Erick Rowan attack Kobashi in the ring, beating him down. Kobashi was able to fend for himself however, and had the Wyatt Family leave the area. The two men were also expected to pick two individuals to face the other man for a Pick Your Poison set up for next week. Bray Wyatt selected fellow Japanese sensation, Kazuchika Okada to face Kenta Kobashi. Kenta Kobashi selected Brian Banks to face Bray Wyatt. With Summerslam only one week away after these matches are set to take place, both men could use the momentum going into the final match up that was announced for the Summerslam card
