It took 'em long enough though
Valve has announced that the long-awaited Cold Stream campaign for Left 4 Dead 2 is almost ready to release on the Xbox 360, after almost a year of play testing the PC version. Apparently, this play testing period also saw Valve testing Left 4 Dead 1 campaigns Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air and Death Toll for Left 4 Dead 2.
Cold Stream itself is an entirely new campaign for Left 4 Dead 2, and the DLC will come with mutations available at all times, which means that players will be able to choose to play a match in Taannkk!, Gib Fest and user-created mutations such as Confogl.
More information and surprises are in store according to Valve, and a date for the Left 4 Dead 2 Cold Stream campaign has been nailed down as July 24th. Hooray!
