Title: Anyone hear of Watch Dogs?

Cornelius Kelog - June 5, 2012 12:14 PM (GMT)
I was watching some E3 videos last night and I guess Ubisoft released some game footage of Watch Dogs. It looked fantastic! It's set in an open world and you can use your cell phone to hack traffic lights, jam phone signals, of tap into other peoples phones all together. Not quite sure when it comes out, but I'm hopeful that it'll be a good game.

This game looks awesome! I love the looks and it looks like a fresh approach to open world and spy thriller/conspiracy theory genres

Ubi had one hell of a showing last night....Watch Dogs looked awesome....I have to admit though that I was more stoked for the new Rayman game

Jaw is dropped. Game looks incredible. Too bad this is on next-gen hardware (the demo ran on high-end PC hardware).

Ubisoft had one hell of a show. Msoft, Sony, and Nintendo all bombed, IMO.

Edit: Read that the game will be offered on 360 and PS3, as well as PC. Somehow I doubt we will see that level of visual fidelity on current gen consoles though. Here's hoping.

yeah, it was wicked cool. Having a hard time keeping up with all the buzz that is E3 but so far its been a good showing from the venders

I agree game looked awesome visually as did starwars 1313. I'm guessing both games will be next generation games. Which is why I think the shows were a bit nondescript. There's a lot of current development going on for next gen.

Did you all see the Final Fantasy tech demo...

Next gen is looking promising.

Finally Fantasy always looks awesome but the game play seems so stale and tired. They need a major overhaul to their menu UI to stream line the flow of things. There are so many other games that handle character and inventory management that is just as complex much better..

SW 1313 looks great as well. While in general WiiU looks like crap to me, the ZombiU seems an intriguing game I'll probably never play.

Last of Us was the only PS3 thing I found interesting, however Sony said it wouldn't be out this year. Maybe a next system title as well?

Watch Dog does say 360 and PS3 so we'll see. All games get delayed so who knows when we'll actually see it, but those videos look like a fairly complete gameplay system.

Wish MS would stop with the forcing of Kinect or find a way to make it work in a smaller space. Halo 4 looks better than I thought it would. We'll see about game play.

I was hoping to see more of interest in general (that hadn't already been revealed) out of E3. Oh well.

+2 on the kinec, its just not "main stream" yet, and they keep throwing it out there.. Voice in some of the games is great, i have yet to try it with GRFS but then again i cant find my kinec....

Im stoked about a few of the games, but not all as you said lima it seems that E3 was all over the place and not set on rails like it has been the past few years. Next Gen they keep talking about and the games that they are saying are PC based and nothing was said about the next Xbox/Playstation as i've looked at "sneaked" Motherboards (or so they say they are) but we all know something is in the pipeline..

wounder how much is going to be spilled at the Tokyo show in September(i think its in Sept)?

E3 was this week? Guess that shows how uninterested I was this year in the event.

I did watch some demos of Watch Dogs after reading this and it does look great. Some other vids I watched were Far Cry 3 co-op footage B) , Assassian's Creed 3 (which made me go buy AC:Brotherhood to start catching up), Halo 4, The Last of Us, and Black Ops II. All of these look like they are going to be a blast.

I'm sure I missed out on some other games...I saw Dead Island is going to have a sequel, another Castlevania is enroute, and a new Splinter Cell is coming minus Micheal Ironside's voice as Sam Fisher. Some cool XBLA games are coming too...Rock Band Blitz, Dust, Ascend, and Deadlight.

This year's E3 strengthened my interest in Far Cry 3, Assassins Creed 3, and Dishonored. These three games look to deliver amazing experiences.

SW 1313 looks absolutely stunning but will it come out on this generation's consoles? I wonder...
