Forum Rules
Board Guidelines
1. No Flaming or Trolling - Any form of flaming or trolling will not be tolerated on this forum. Flaming is when you attack a person or a person's view in a disrespectful way. This includes derogatory name-calling, discriminating, mistreating anyone based on their race, religion, sexuality, political views, or preference to anything else. Trolling is when you are purposely and repeatedly disrespecting other members for your own joy/entertainment/whatever reason. Try not to mention anybody's names in your rants. This tends to cause flames. So if you want to ventilate your hate/anger/whatever: leave the person, guild, situation, or incident as anonymous as possible so nobody else gets involved with the problem. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final on this matter. We're here to discuss about things, not to air latest episode of ROF soap operas. 2. Illegal discussions - Please do not create topics or start discussions that promotes illegal actions. This includes advocating piracy and other violations of copyright holders legal rights. We also do not allow the promotion of botting, hacking, scamming, or cheating. 3. No Spamming - Spamming is not allowed. Spamming is when you post meaningless and irrelevant replies/threads that contribute nothing to the forum. This would mostly apply to less-than-5-words posts and posts that contain nothing but an emote. Basically, if you don't feel that your resulting context has a real point of existing, then don't post it. Try not to double post either, this means posting twice consecutively in the same thread. If you want to include more content and the last post belongs to you, then just edit that post rather than posting again. You are also not allowed to "bump" topics. (Does not apply to the Selling/Buying forums) 4. Objectionable Material - Pornographic, violent, or any other objectionable material are NOT allowed! Foul language will be edited and you will receive a warning. If you're debating on whether it's objectionable or not, you may ask a Moderator for opinion on the subject, if they give the green light, you may post freely. Be aware that you may be asked to merely post a link and a disclaimer to your picture if it is on the boarder. 5. Image sizes - Try to control the size of the content you are posting. Reasonable images for signatures are sizes of 600x200, please try not to go over that limit, we will not regulate the sizes unless it is really over the top. Also, keep the total signature size within 175kb. Images in posts is an average of 700 width, if your picture goes over that size, just link it. (Screenshots are an exception) 6. Authority - Please do not act like you have any authority over another member. Do not act like you 7. know the divine rights and wrongs of this forum and tell another that they are restricted to a certain action or otherwise "policing". (It tends to create more problems) Let the moderators and administrators do their job, and we'll try our best to regulate things. Your jobs is to be a member and if you see a problem, feel free to use the "Report" button. If you get warned or suspended for something you did, do not complain about it. If you think it's unjustified, report it to a Moderator and it will be processed fairly. Multiple Accounts - While multiple accounts are allowed, do not create multiple accounts with the intent to deceive to impersonate another person. If caught, all accounts belonging to the source will punished. People usually do this to make themselves look good with the other account or to encourage bid wars. 8. Searching - Please take advantage of the "Search" function. If you have a question or want to make a topic, please try and search if the forum has already existing topics using keywords. Take for example, you are wondering what "WoE" is, click Search, type in "WoE" and search topics that includes that word in the title or thread. This will save the trouble of the community putting up with repetitive topics. Topics that are repeats of other topics will be removed without explanation. By posting them, it shows lack of care for the community. Call its removal, karma. 9. Post Counts - Don't think about the post count as a measuring system. The number is close to meaningless, it just represents how active your are in the forum, that is all. It does not measure popularity level, how cool/uncool someone is, how much experience a member has in the forum, etc. Just participate in discussions like you would normally do, and you'll be fine in terms of spam. 10. Reviving Old Topics - An old topic would be considered 2 weeks or older. It is allowed, but be careful what you revive and how you revive it. If you revive a pointless topic, you're most likely going to get a warning and said thread will be locked, if not deleted. If you revive a topic with a hollow reply, you will be warned. Reviving a topic with an emote falls into this category. There are many good topics that tend to die within days, so anyone is welcome to post their view on things. It's better to revive an old topic than to create another one of the same discussion. So don't be completely afraid of reviving topics, merely use good judgment in doing so. 11. Advertising - Do not advertise any site unless it has been approved and looked at by a Moderator. We do not have anything against other fan sites or forums, but please ask for permission first before posting it. Advertising other servers is strictly forbidden, do not inquire, Moderators WILL delete all such posts. 12. Plagiarism. - Do not post material that you personally have not written unless you can assure Moderators that you have secured permission for such and you have properly credited the original author. Plagiarism is theft and you will be punished accordingly. Stolen material on the boards can lead to many issues, the harshest of which, our forums no longer being allowed to continue. Should you be caught posting something that is not yours, the post will be deleted and you will be warned. Should this happen a second time you will be temporarily banned from the forums for an undetermined amount of time. We WILL be checking so please DON'T DO IT. IMPORTANT: Rules for Spamming • Don't make the spam useless, like for example, " ^^ " or " Nice " If you want to comment, add some meaning into it. Like if you say for rating a signature / tag, " That sig rocks, it's lame. " Well, tell the reason why it's lame? And be honest about the ratings. • Don't spam in every single topic.
