'Coo-coo-cachoo!' Group: Trees Posts: 135 Member No.: 9 Joined: 16-January 04	Pretty random question, but what kind of life-threatening diseases run in your family? I've got it pretty bad: Diabetes, Cancer of several kinds, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), Coeliac Disease, and the list goes on.

'Coo-coo-cachoo!' Group: Trees Posts: 135 Member No.: 9 Joined: 16-January 04	My mum has it. It's a hypersensitivity to 'gluten' the protein found in wheat. Basically she has to watch what she eats, because if she continues to eat gluten, it will eat away the lining of her intestine, causing bowel cancer.

Yeah, her diet pretty much sucks. Rice, meat, and more rice Oh, and fruit and vegetables

Bummer. You steer clear of it then Deal with your problems another way; Dont drown your sorrows in alcohol. My uncle's like that.

(they are taking precautions) but it skips a generation, so i shouldn't get it...but my children might
