For me, the greatest RPG on the SNES was Chrono Trigger, hands down! That game was the greatest until Skies of Arcadia came to the Dreamcast, but both games are the emotional Tour de Force of all RPGs, besides FF10 of course.

Anyway, the SNES had some awesome, awesome games. Besides CT, there was Secret of Mana, Earth Defense Force, Final Fantasy 3/6, Final Fantasy 2/4, Super Mario World, ActRaiser, ActRaiser 2, and a whole bunch of others. I'd love to get a working SNES again, and a Dreamcast too. That'd be fantastic for a guy like me.

I loved the Super NES! One of the best things began with the Super NES-the Harvest Moon series. My favorite Super NES games were-

1. Harvest Moon (I played it so much that I'm surprised I didn't burn a hole into it!)
2. Donkey Kong Country 1-3 (though the original was my favorite)
3. Super Mario RPG
4. Chrono Trigger

For me, of the Donkey Kong Country series, the second one was my favorite. It had the best graphics, best soundtrack, and most importantly the best humour. Frigging Dixie's animation when you get the bonus item at the end of the stages was hilarious. Come on, how could someone NOT laugh at a monkey playing with an electric guitar? Or Diddy's getting out the boombox and acting like a monkey rapper? But seriously, that game was hard, and yes, I think it had an incredible soundtrack. Especially in the water levels like Arctic Abyss, and the castle levels like Toxic Tower, as a whole the entire game just wowed me. Not quite as much as Chrono Trigger, but still almost as good. As for DKC3? Truthfully I was VERY disappointed with that game, I managed to get to the final boss and beat him within 5 days of getting it, no joke. And the soundtrack was just, eh. It should've been so much better, but it just ended up being disappointing, great game for sure, but it should've been better. Much, much better.

Truthfully, I'm happy that Rare parted ways to Microsoft, I feel that for the most part their games have taken a huge downturn in regards of quality, frigging Grabbed By the Ghoulies was a joke, a huge steaming pile of crap! Sure, the Box in itself is a pretty cool system with some awesome, awesome games (Dead or Alive 3 = One of the best fighters I've ever played) but Rare just sucks so much ass right now it isn't funny. The only Rare games that interest me are Kameo: Elements of Darkness, and Perfect Dark Zero, besides that, I've yet to see something impressive by them.

Anyway, point taken, Rare games were great on the SNES, OK on the N64, and now officially stinky. Well, I've made my case. I do hope to see more about the SNES and it's awesome collection of games. There were some games that really pushed it to it's limits, and that is what I hope to see with current systems now.

Don't forget that Rare made Star Fox Adventures for GCN...

I still have a working SNES, but my dog chewed and broke my only controller cord! angry.gif I need to buy a new one, but when I have the money, I forget!

Aye, I do hope you can find another controller for your SNES buddy. The fact that yours still works is really something else.

Well it barely works, if you stand at the right point, don't move and keep the cord straight, it'll work, other wise its a piece of #### thanks to my dog.
