Mini Roleplaying Feedback Thread

We are doing this in CWF, and it seems to be working really well. Hell, i've done a review for Bucky's GCWA RP.

so here's the basic idea. You post that you would like to have a mini review of your RP by your "co-workers" here in the GCWA. If you ask for reviews, in my mind, you're expected to give one back.

i think this will help everyone out a lot.

don't just say bad things either. give some positive feedback, because positive feedback works just as well.

Hey I think I have a suggestion to make this better.

You could have a list of people who want feedback, and when they get feedback, take them off the list. Just so we know who didn't get feedback yet if it's really busy.

I would love some feedback on either of my first two PPV roleplays. I know there are things that I need to improve upon, but for some reason I can't put my finger on several of them. I want to become a better writer so please don't just give me a "it was really good" happy-go lucky feedback, I want the honest truth and if you want to mix in a compliment or two then cool.

Here's what i'm going to do.

when some one requests feedback, i'll edit my main post. and when they receive feedback, i will put received and by who they got it from. that way we can keep everything fresh. work for ya'll?

i can give constructive criticism.. do you want me to read your rp Rish? I'm a better reader than I am a writer...

J. Rish - The Road To Victory

Let me be clear, i love, absolutely LOVE the way that you roleplay here. You narrating yourself, i think that is a real clever way of doing it. And an on going story, not just through a series of roleplays, but through a few matches worth, is a really good idea i think other people should take notice of.

with the praise out of the way, let me be brutal. well, not exactly brutal, but constructive? hah.

the only problem with the on going story is that not everyone reads everyone elses roleplays. So it can be tough to back track, and read older roleplays. So it can be hard for them to follow. I mean, granted, i love the idea, but it does make it more difficult. You OOC before can help, but, not everyone will want to read your roleplays from previous match.

i really can't complain about too much. i mean, you describe things great, your roleplays are real original. i'm not trying to blow smoke up your ass. perhaps some one else would be better at grading yours, because me, personally, i love them.

Thanks a lot man, that's really appreciated. I will try to feedback a roleplay or two either late tonight after I post the CWF show or tomorrow morning before I finish up the third US rp. No promises, but I'll try.

lol you can always feed back my CWF RP's, but you can post those here as to not cause a disturbance there

Yeah, Rish, I was reading yours and thought pretty much the same. I've known a few people to write the same way as you, and I've always been a fan.( the self narration) Writing in a way that continues a story is a way to get everyone to read every post you put up, and it's pretty much the most accepted way to roleplay in an e-fed these days. Nothing against Twiztid's advice, but, like I said, pretty much everyone writes that way these days...
