Well, there it was...the final GCWA show...I gotta say, Ace sent his creation out with tremendous style.

The segments were awesome (always a mark for Smokey attempting to derail Biff's title aspirations), the matches were competitive and well written...the HOF inductions were the icing on the cake...great show.

Just some random things that stood out...doing this in a completely informal manner, but what ya gonna do.

- The intro was a great reminder of how much has taken place over the past 20 months of GCWA...great memories, for sure.

- AARON STYLES HELD A TITLE!! I totally marked when Styles won the Hardcore title for a few, brief moments...a true moment in history!

- Arachne walking out Hardcore champ...I guess that really speaks for itself, doesn't it? lol

- Biff/Linchy was a great match...two of my favorite all time rpers...I had no idea who was going to win this one...can't argue with the decision...Linchy really hit his stride these past few months.

- Ataxia is Trent Steel. Awesome, was wondering what happened to Steel (and Blood)...great to see you've been here all this time....I wasn't really sure who Ataxia was, but I wasn't expecting Trent.

- Twiztid returns and tries to steal the X Division title...that was cool. Twiztid was a MAJOR part of GCWA for the first few months in 2009...nice to see him make a cameo and give us a glimpse of his thieving ways.

- Bifford announcing his retirement was surprising.

- Tag match was great...Trevor and Demarco came out on top...sad to see TLS go out with a loss to end his career...but what ya gonna do when your partner is Peter Vaugh?? Lol j/k

- Great to see Chris walk out as the X Division champ at the final show...Dan has owned that division as of late and deserves the title.

- HOF announcements were great...always an honor to be inducted into a fed's Hall of Fame...I can't argue with any of the selections, they were all deserving.

- Main event was terrific...loved The Thriller of the Top Rope...shame to see Shayde and Cortez no show...but Ataxia/Trent Steel more than made up for it. Thoroughly enjoyed the match, Steel pushed me to the limit and I couldn't have asked for a better opponent in my final GCWA match. Walking out as Champ is great...can't think of a better way to go out.

- Also enjoyed Ataxia taking out the competition before the WT match...it's the right way to go, in my opinion...those two no showed (for their own personal reasons) so no need in placing them in the actual match...showcase the two guys who put in the work to be there.

All in all, this show is a 10...I don't like giving 10's out, I think they are given out more often than they should be...but this show is deserving. The action was great, the segments were great...you had nostalgic moments, Hall of Fame announcements, shocking surprises...and the end of an amazing era. Heat Wave III was the perfect way for GCWA to close it's doors (for the time being...hehe)

Yup, I told Andy to just have Ataxia take us out and write the match just with you guys in it. I'm really disappointed in myself...I just didn't have the time. It's unfortunate, I really would have liked to faced you, Will. I think it would have been close.

Here is where I tell you all that it's gonna be great to see you guys in OCW, but alas, that's not to be. I feel like such a total dick for no showing this week, I'm not going to make excuses, you know why I didn't post...and even though I did have a few hours to write something...I chose not to...I don't want to feel this way every other week over in OCW.

So...I'm done e-fedding. For now. Maybe when I get my degree and the kids get a little older...I could come back. Here's hoping there's something to come back to. It's been great. I've had a blast here in GCWA. Thanks for having me. I really appreciate all the time and effort everyone, Andy, Will, Jay, Trevor, Jerry, really everyone, EVERYONE, put into making these last few months very enjoyable.

G'bye GCWA, thanks for everything.

Yea man, I was looking forward to maxing against you and Cortez...but real life comes into play and there's nothing you can do about it...I've been there before.

Wish you were heading to OCW, but if your heart isn't in this, it's definitely best to bow out and take a break...after all, this is supposed to be fun...cause, let's face it, it's too much damn work for it not to be, lol

Enjoy your hiatus and if you get the ole 'itch' to return, hit me up

Well...the final show for GCWA sad.gif It was a blast to read and was full of surprises. I really thought I had the Hardcore title. I so wanted to show up in OCW with Dan and Chris both champs. But, it is what it is. There will be more titles to come my way. Great job to those who captured the Hardcore title, especially you Arachne, even though, 'Biff' hates me for some reason, which I still don't know why?

Only one championship changed hands, so that really says something about those who have been the champs. If I just beat Dougg last year for the IC title, then I'd have that on my resume as well. Almost held every championship. Great job Biff/Linchy.

Tag title match was well written and congrats on retaining. See you boys in OCW.

Unfortunately, I have no idea who Trent Steel is. So, it was a 'shocker' for me. It was cool to finally see who the man behind the mask was. Really enjoyed working with you 'Trent'

Big surprise seeing Aaryk again. I was sitting there trying to remember about the whole Spongebob toothbrush thing, but couldnt remember who did that. Was great to have a first mini segment with Twizted cool.gif

Although it was a given, enjoyed reading the Unified X Division title match. I figured since it was the last show, then the title should be defended in a 'special' match. To those who werent interested in the match concept nor read the match, I personally like new match concepts. Would have been more of a challenge had Landon rp'd, but I believe it came off well. Only Unified X Division Champion...making another record breaking moment. tongue.gif

So I guess TLG is the new Tag Team Champion biggrin.gif

Great main event Will and Trent. You both deserved the main event. Glad the show went out in style.

Biggest shocker of the night for me was finding out I made Hall of Fame. Seriously did not think that was going to happen. Thanks to everyone that voted for me. It lets me know that you don't have to be a former World Champion to make it in the HOF. You guys are great and I'm honored to be in the class with Will, Dougg, Lurrr, Biff, and Ryan. Thanks again guys for thinking that I've accomplished things around here. You guys are phenomenal.

Thanks Andy for making the GCWA a fun place to be over the last, for me, 19 months. Thanks for the opportunities you gave me, and for making this my TRUE home. I've really enjoyed working with each and everyone of you over the past two years. I've had many good and disappointing moments, but I truely feel honored to still be working with you guys. There's only a slight few of us who have remained here since the reopening. You guys really gave me a run for my money. Although I never won the World title, I thank those who I competed against for the title. Lurrr and Will. It was an honor to work with you guys. I'm definitely going to miss working around here.

Andy...got a give you a standing ovation. You've managed to write every single show on time and its never been late. You did a superb job creating this fed into what it is today. It's a closing moment for you in the GCWA as a owner, but I'm looking forward to working with you in OCW as a roleplayer. Its sad to see you close the doors on this amazing company, but you have to do what you have to do. Hope to see it reopen in the near future, and who knows...maybe then I will have OCW Champion on my resume biggrin.gif

Goodbye GCWA friends. Hope to work with you all again. It's on to bigger and better things. Can't wait to start OCW. It's a new chapter for the Danger Boiz and the in ring debut of Miss Madyson.

This is your Unified X Division Champion and one time Hardcore Champion signing off.

*Salutes to the roster, before shutting off the lights, closing the door, and venturing off to better things.*

Thanks for the comments, you guys, much appreciated.

Will, you were truly the heart and soul of the GCWA this run, so thanks for all your hard work. Here's hoping that I can 'return the favor' in OCW. smile.gif

Shayde, yeah, I decided to just go with the "Trent Steel beats everyone up" bit after real life nailed both you and Cortez. I think Steel may have enjoyed it a little too much, but oh well *l*. I'll echo what Will says, if you ever feel like coming back, we'll hopefully see you in OCW. You were one of the top guys in the last months of the fed, and I definitely thought you had a shot at the belt.

Dan, you definitely deserved to be in the Hall of Fame, and the voters agreed, so take it as a major note of pride. As for the Hardcore Title, the only suggestion I have there is to shorten the rp's up a little bit. I don't know if it was the excitement of the last show or what, but all three of Dangerous Dan's roleplays were near or above 200 lines. I know you lost your Microsoft Word access, so I didn't take much off, but Arachne had some pretty nice rp's and that was really the difference maker.

The nice thing is, you're going into OCW as a veteran instead of a rookie, and I expect you to make a major run for the OCW World Title! (I know Will thinks I'm a major threat to win it, but I'm going to be rusty! *lol*) Thanks for all your hard work in keeping supremely dedicated to the GCWA!

Thanks for the kind words guys...appreciate it.

It's been a long, awesome journey in GCWA, for sure. I remember when Ace announced he was reopening GCWA...I hadn't rp'd in years...however, this was a no-brainer for me...Ace needed wrestlers, I had been looking for a fed like GCWA...perfect match. Here we are, 20 months later and I can look back on this as one of my best efed runs ever.

Ace, man...I've said it before and I'll say it again...this is the most amazing job I've ever seen by a fedhead. People don't understand how tough it is running a fed...it's basically a part time job without the pay. You have to deal with egos, complaints, suggestions...it's just a total pain in the ass. You really have to love it to do it. 20 months of GCWA...every card was on time and the ones that weren't...WERE EARLY!! Unbelievable job...you cannot get enough credit for the past 20 months.

Everyone else...job well done...I would give a bunch of shout outs...however, there are too many people to thank and I don't want to risk leaving someone out. All I'll say is everyone who is here or was here helped make GCWA what it is today and were all vital in GCWA's success. Great job, guys.

It wouldn't have been an awesome final GCWA show without me getting another victory over Dangerous Dan. It was a truly great moment.

To Ace - there's nobody else like you in e-fedding... Will said it best - running an efed is like a part time job without the pay (unless you run a fed like Mario's where people pay to be in it). You are a god among e-fed presidents.

I would just like to close this off by thanking myself, for coming back to e-fedding and being the greatest e-fedder the world has ever seen. I beat Lurrr, Dougg, Mobley, Draco, Sullivan and Mario.

Bifford's saga is over. It was sad to see him lose his last match, but they say it's the best way to retire - putting someone over. I'm glad I got to put over my favorite CHAMPION of the OCEAN~!

Now Arachne will go to OCW and try to carve his name into that legacy.

Great last card / PPV, Ace! Tremendous work, as always, and it never disappoints.

It was great to be up against Biff for my final match in the GCWA. I wasn't sure how it was going to end!! Great job, good sir!

I thought Dougg was Ataxia for a little bit as well, but I was surprised by the reveal! TRENT STEEL!

All in all, it's been an honor and a privilege to have come out of retirement and into the GCWA. As many of you can attest, I'd get an IM every so often of someone else asking me to come back. I was very hesitant because my last comeback was very pathetic - I jobbed quite a bit and faded into oblivion again. I think it was an Ace / Will combo that put me over the top and made me make the plunge. RP'ing requires a lot of time, but sometimes when that perfect RP is up, you feel damn proud.

I think everyone here put up some great work and it was a joy to be part of this place.

As far as Linchy's future? We shall see. I was able to close his storyline here, at least for now.

Thank you all for letting me be a part of the GCWA.

OLE!

- Chris

PS: This run has given me the last bit of inspiration to finish the El Linchador screenplay. I want to grow Linchy into other media forms, so if/when that happens, I'll let you guys know!

-Man what a run Ace, 20 some odd months and it was an unbelievable streak. Will and myself have a very, very hard act to follow. I honestly had no idea what to expect when I came into the GCWA but it was a fun wild ride.

-Congrats to all the winners and it's a cool accomplishment to finish with a title as you can say it will never be lost... unless another reopening ever occurs.. wink, wink.

-I think I mixed it up with a lot of you while here and it was a pleasure. I had been away from this game for so long that when I came back I never really thought I would last as long as I did, but the way this fed was run and the competition it had in it easily kept the fire lit under my ass.

-I also want to thank all of those who voted for me to become a member of the GCWA Hall of Fame, it is an honor to be in the company of the other guys who were admitted entry as well.

-As for my show it's not over yet as many of you know, Will and myself hope to see all of you at one time or another in the OCW, where we can only hope to run it as well as Ace ran the GCWA.

Ok, ok, ok...time to finally do this...it's so hard to say goodbye sad.gif

Now first thing is first, Heat Wave was spectacular! Although the NFB didn't do as well as I would of hoped for, at least me and Demarco won! WOOT! *high 5 Jerry*

The whole show was amazing and Ace you've done one hell of a job...especially putting up with Bifford's ego...that by itself is a job!

I really loved working with all of you guys and thanks Andy for really letting me ease back into this thing and kinda play a behind the scenes roll, I really appreciate it! To everyone else you guys are amazing and you are a great bunch of guys!

Come to think of it this was the only fed that I pretty much got along with EVERYONE...well save for a jobber that won't be named because I would feel bad talking about a cripple.

You guys made this extremely enjoyable and I'm looking forward to seeing a bunch of you over in the OCW (Lurrr tends to forget that I'm part of the team as well wink.gif )

Regards guys! And if you ever want to contact me via IM or anything my name on both AIM and Yahoo! is ocwgreatone
