{We open to a black screen with the sound of fire blazing in the background. Suddenly we see a fire immediately burst onto the screen the same way on Inferno. The only sound is the crackling of the fire, as the flames begin to get higher and faster. We can feel the heat from the fire, as if it were in our very own home. Suddenly, a deep and dark toned voice bursts into our ears and begins speaking.}
For three years the summers most anticipated event emerges from the depths of hell. A wave of heat fumes upon the GCWA. Many ascend the beaches of summer for this event, but only a slight few will escape the sands of the heat. This event known as Heat Wave begins many careers, but in return, can also ends careers of those who fail to survive the heat wave.
{The voice pauses, as the fire engulfs the entire screen. Past images of Heat Wave from previous years are shown. The fire dies down only a bit. The voice continues speaking.}
This year Heat Wave marks the end of an era, but will spark a new generation of superstars. At this even known as Heat Wave, eleven men will square off in a junkyard match for the Hardcore Championship. These eleven men have achieved many a things, but this Sunday, only one man will be the FINAL GCWA Hardcore Champion.
{As the voice stops, images begin to appear on screen one by one. Each of the images is of the current participants in the Harvey Danger Hardcore Title Invitational. Our first image emerges into the fire. On the screen is a picture of Scott Caine. He is holding the Television title and is staring down the ring at Crazy Chris, with an evil grin on his face. The voice continues speaking.}
Scott Caine...a former X Division and Television Champion. A man who attempted to dominated both divisions, and succeeded in many things. But unlike others, his career slowly faded away and disintegrated into nothing.
{Scott's image engulfs into flames and disintegrates off the screen. As the fire in the background continues to blaze, a second image appears, this time of Aaron Styles. He is dressed in black, and is holding a barbed wire bat. The voice begins speaking again.)
Aaron Styles...a man who attempted to achieve success in the GCWA. After numerous wins, but several more loses, his reign in the GCWA quickly dissolved. A few months later he reemerged onto the scene for a shot at the gold, only to fall to defeat at the hands of the Big Bifford. Better luck next time.
{Aaron's image engulfs into flames and disintegrates off the screen. An image of Peter Vaughn holding a plunger and a bottle of Lysol appears onto the screen. The voice speaks yet again.}
Peter "The Janitor" Vaughn...he once brought cleanliness to the restrooms and hallways of the GCWA. He was just your ordinary average janitor looking to make money for his family. He soon found himself competed inside the ring and receiving a few title matches. Ah, his career was on the verge of blooming into many things, but just like you would see in a restroom, his career was simply...flushed down the toilet!
{Just like the other images, Peter's engulfs into flames and disintegrates off screen. Two images surfaces onto the left and right side of the screen. One is of a masked Desayuno standing in a fighting stance inside the ring. The other is of Johnny Vegas, with his arms crossed and an evil glare in his eyes. Again the voice continues.}
Desayuno and Johnny Vegas are two new recruits looking to make a name for themselves, only having a short time to do that. Neither man has achieved success, but Heat Wave could potentially be their calling. Or on the other hand, it may just simply go down in flames.
{Both Desayuno and Johnny Vegas’ images burst into flames and falls to the bottom off screen. An image of Steve Wilson with the X Division title around his waist, and an image of Marcus Ka'Derrion lifting the World Heavyweight Championship over his head emerge on the screen. The voice continues speaking.}
One is a former X Division Champion and the other is a two time World Heavyweight Champion. "PIC" Steve Wilson and Marcus Ka'Derrion are no strangers to fighting hardcore style. Both have achieved success and stardom. One became champion only a couple of weeks after resurfacing, the other capture Heavyweight gold in less than six months. However, their fifteen minutes of fame simply went down into smoke.
{Both their pics suddenly rip in half, only to be engulfed into flames seconds later. As their images fall into the fire and off screen, another recognizable image appears on the screen of Arachne with the Tag Team title wrapped around his waist.}
Arachne...they call him a freak, and yet he showed them all. He is no ordinary man, but accomplishes what he sets his mind too. He is a former World Tag Team Champion and the longest in GCWA history. He stands by his best friend’s side, even though he has to compete with a seal. But Heat Wave is no place for fear of this man. He too, will suffer defeat and his history will be nothing but ashes.
{Arachne's image engulfs into flames, and disintegrates off screen. Harvey Danger's image, of him and his mother carrying the Tag Team title to the ring, appears onto screen. We also see his self made 'Danger' Championship wrapped around his waist.}
Harvey Danger...the self proclaimed Danger Champion, former Television and Tag Team Champion. He is a man who not only lives up to his last name, but also shows that he has heart not only to his fans, but to that of one particular woman. This mamma's boy is no laughing matter, but his attempt to become champion AGAIN will simply cease to exist.
{Harvey's image goes up into flames, and disintegrates off screen. Another shot appears and it is of a shot from this past Friday night's Inferno. Xtreme is shown holding up the Hardcore Championship having defeated Bucky Johnson to earn his first ever title.}
Xtreme...after fighting in 2000 light bulb matches, tag matches, four way matches, and singles matches, he finally emerged as Hardcore Champion last week on Inferno. Although the win is very important in his career, it is only days before his rein will officially end. It is a bitter-sweet moment for Xtreme, as he has captured the Hardcore Championship, but his reign WILL officially end this Sunday at Heat Wave. Only one man will be stand tall at Heat Wave and can call himself the FINAL Hardcore Champion. Only a strong and successful man will win the championship. The final Hardcore Champion should be a man who represents the GCWA in its upmost and glorious form. The final champion should be recognized as a competitor and no stranger to hardcore danger. There is only one man who fits these characteristics. Only one man who knows what holding a championship is all about. This man is not only a contender to every championship in the GCWA, but also a dangerous competitor to mess with. This man is none other than three time Tag Team Champion and two time Television Champion Dangerous Dan.
{Suddenly the sound of a fire extinguisher is heard and foam quickly filling up the screen. In a matter of seconds, the fire is out as we seen Dangerous Dan step into view. The background is the image of the Hardcore Championship with Dangerous Dan on the name plate. All the images of the fallen men now appear below his feet. Dan smiles as he turns and stares at the life size Hardcore Championship. The voice speaks one final time.}
Dangerous Dan...A true contender to every championship on the roster, Dan has proven that he is worthy of anything set in front of him. Dangerous Dan is not only dangerous but also hardcore. Many have stepped into the ring with him, and know why he calls himself dangerous. A fan favorite and a true warrior of the ring, Dan not only has the heart of a champion, but the skills of a warrior. Heat Wave is the end for the GCWA and Dan has eyes on becoming a champion one final time. Heat Wave will be the night when Dangerous Dan becomes the FINAL Hardcore Champion of the GCWA!!!
{Suddenly the voice comes to an end and we are left with sounds of one last fire blazing in the background. We then quickly fade into a shot of a Wal-Mart shopping center. People are walking towards us, moving to the side as we quickly walk right past them. Our point of view quickly flashes from left to right, as we see several different aisle ways with people down each one. We are able to catch the view of a shopping cart with several items inside in front of us, and a long row of electronic items against a wall to our left. Suddenly, we can hear the sound of cash registers beeping as the cashier’s check out each item of their prospective customer. Seconds after sound begins coming in from our right side, our left side follows suit. We continue walking down the aisle only to make a left turn until a man is spotted in the distance. He is quickly recognized as GCWA Unified X Division Champion Crazy Chris. He is seated at a table inside the shopping center's McDonald’s. He has a Big Mac in hand and fries placed on a tray in front of him with a large drink placed on his right hand side. He is looking straight at us, as we come to an abrupt stop and stare back at him. We see the shopping cart being placed next to another shopping cart, as our point of view quickly changes and we now see Dangerous Dan standing in front of Chris. Dan grabs a chair out from under the table and takes a seat in front of Chris. Chris speaks.}
Crazy Chris: Got a little hungry. I was craving a Big Mac. I would've waited but you took too long.
Dangerous Dan: Yeah, sorry about that. I was looking at an Achmed the Dead Terrorist shirt. I had to get it.
{Chris laughs and shakes his head as he takes another bit of his Big Mac. Dan begins laughing all the while wondering why Chris is laughing.}
Dangerous Dan: What? You know I like anything by Jeff Dunham.
Crazy Chris: I know you do, especially anything of Peanut.
Dangerous Dan: Oh, that reminds me. I need to get his season one DVD.
Crazy Chris: I can't believe that show didn't last on Comedy Central. I thought it was a very good show. I liked anything done by Walter. He's such a smart ass for an old guy.
Dangerous Dan: Well that's what makes him funny.
{Dan stares at Chris eating the Big Mac. We can almost hear the sound of his stomach grumbling, as drool begins to barely drip down Dan's mouth.}
Dangerous Dan: Ah! I can't take this. I am so hungry. I'll be back.
{Dan exits from the table and stands in line where two other people are ahead of him. This gives him enough time to look over the menu. Within a couple of minutes, Dan's turn to order arrives. We listen as Dan and the cashier exchange orders.}
Cashier: What can I get for you?
{Dan studies over the menu one last time, as he orders his meal.}
Dangerous Dan: Uh, I need one Quarter Pounder with cheese meal only mayo, and an order of apple dippers.
{The girl rings up Dan's order which comes to seven dollars and fifteen cents. Dan hands the girl a ten dollar bill. She takes the money and types the payment in. The register opens as she hands Dan back his change along with a large cup. Dan makes his way to the drink stand and fills his cup with ice. He then places the cup under one of the coke products. As he fills his cup with Dr. Pepper, the girl calls out Dan's order number. Dan grabs a lid and straw and carefully covers his cup with the lid and places the straw inside. He walks over and grabs the tray then heads back to sit with Chris. Dan approaches the table, where he places the tray gently down onto the table, and sets his drink off to the left side. He takes a seat.}
Crazy Chris: You and those Quarter Pounders. Let me guess, mayo only?
Dangerous Dan: Of course! What else?
{Dan opens the box and stares at the Quarter Pounder. He picks it up and takes a bite. He begins to mumble and rolls his eyes enjoying the juiciness of the burger.}
Dangerous Dan: Oh my! This is so good! Mmm.
{Chris watches his brother, as Dan takes a few moments of enjoyment from the one bite. Chris laughs and again shakes his head, getting amusement out of Dan. With his mouth full of the quarter pounder, Dan attempts to speak.}
Dangerous Dan: What the hell you laughing at?
Crazy Chris: You. You crack me up brother. Have you ever watched yourself eat? If you did you would see all the facial expressions you do whenever you’re hungry. It's like watching some fat chick stuffing her mouth full of pie at a pie eating contest and getting some kind of sick joy out of it. Dude, you just look funny when you stuff your mouth full of food. Here, you look like this.
{Chris stuffs his mouth full of his McDouble and begins mocking Dan's reaction when eating the first bite. Dan, however, isn't finding it funny, or so it seems. Dan sits there with a dumbfounded look on his face and almost looks like he is boiling over. Chris pauses for a moment with food still in his mouth staring at his brother staring back at him motionless. The sound of crickets could be placed here and still the awkwardness wouldn't feel any different. Suddenly, though, Dan breaks out into laughter spitting out a little chuck of bread crumbs and a small portion of the burger. He quickly covers his mouth and takes a sip of his drink, as Chris bursts out into laughter even harder. Both boys now have red faces from laughing so hard. It's as if we are watching two eight year old kids laughing hysterically at something stupid. Other people inside the restaurant stare at the brothers, as the compose themselves and try to catch their breaths. Dan and Chris stare around to find the others inside staring back at them. Just like kids they stare at each other and break into even more laughter. Dan begins coughing, possibly choking on the burger going down. Finally, the boys collect themselves and calm down. They again stare at each other motionless. Chris almost cracks a smile, but reprieves himself from doing so. Dan takes another drink clearing the food from his throat.}
Dangerous Dan: What the hell is wrong with us? Why are we laughing so hard at something so stupid?
Crazy Chris: Because we're brothers and that's what brothers do. Why you and I laugh at the most stupidest crap...I don't know? But I know that you are one hilarious and very entertaining son of a bitch.
Dangerous Dan: Don't talk about our mamma like that. She's not a bitch; just an old hag.
{Again the brothers crack up into another round of laughter. This doesn't sit well with some of the other customers, as a manager approach the table.}
Manager: Guys, I've received a couple of complaints from a few people. I'm going to have to ask you to calm down or to exit the restaurant.
{Dan stares at the manager with an 'apologetic' look on his face.}
Dangerous Dan: We're sorry for being loud. We’re Just brothers having a good laugh over something stupid.
Manager: I'm all for having a good time, but the customers are being disturbed. Just relax and control yourselves. If there is anything you need just ask. Have a good day gentlemen.
Dangerous Dan: You too!
{They watch as the manager leaves and heads back to the sliding brown door where she came from. Dan turns back around and stares at Chris again. They both laugh silently making sure to not disturb the others. Chris glances around and picks someone out who might have squealed on them.}
Crazy Chris: I bet it was that bitch right there. She looks like the type that doesn't enjoy a sense of humor.
{Dan scours the room focusing on the woman Chris is pointing fingers at. We see a large, hefty woman seated four tables over and to the left. She has a Double Cheeseburger, fries, a shake, apple dippers, and a McChicken in front of her. A small child sits across from her eating away at his Happy Meal.}
Dangerous Dan: Boy she does look mean. I bet she's the type of woman that yells at her kid for simply playing in his room and making no noise. I can see her being strict. She looks like the wicked witch from the west.
Crazy Chris: It's not nice to be mean to someone you don't know. Mama always said...if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all.
Dangerous Dan: Right now I'm sitting here looking at you trying to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my ass.
Crazy Chris: OH HELL NO!!! If you're gonna act like a dick you should wear a condom on your head so you can at least look like one!!!
Dangerous Dan: Ah, good one there bro.
{The brothers exchange a few insults for a moment, until Dan checks the time on his phone,}
Dangerous Dan: Oh shit! I have to go meet Madyson. We're supposed to go pick up some stuff for Abigail. You gonna be okay till Kimberly gets here to pick your ugly fat ass up?
Crazy Chris: Yes, I'll be fine. You go do what you have to do with Madyson. I'm probably just going to hang with Kimberly for a few days.
Dangerous Dan: Cool. We'll I be with Madyson. I'm going to get her then we're going to pick up the kids from mom. See you later bro.
Crazy Chris: A'ight. Have fun doing that gay shit with her.
Dangerous Dan: Yeah, yeah. Catch ya later.
{Dan heads to the trash can and empties his tray into the trash. He places the tray on top of the trash can, waives bye to Chris and returns to his shopping cart. Chris stays seated at the table drinking what is left of his drink. Chris watches as Dan disappears down the aisle way. The scene fades to black.}
