Sira rolled her eyes again before she gasped as a hand went around her throat. "Hello Sira, finally we meet, so I can kill you for what you did to my husband!"

Noelle's eyes blazed red as she threw Sira against the wall. Noelle was so full of rage that she pulled away from Ion's grip as she marched right over to Sira and started to pound her head against the floor.

Keo looked at Ion. "I knew there was going to be a bloodbath." Positioning his hand on Noelle and Sira, he said as he froze them, "Noelle, leave Sira alone. I know you hate her, but like it or not, she's here to help us."

Aphrodite nodded in agreement. "Keo's right, Noelle. As I told you earlier, Sira is here to help us. So, it might be a good idea to refrain from going after her, as much as you may want to for what she did to Ion."

Philippe and Athena's Room

Athena panted heavily as her head hit the pillow, licking her fangs with her tongue, the taste of Philippe's blood still evident. Ever since Sira arrived, she had yet another mood swing and for the last two hours or so, she had taken her aggression out on Philippe, although Sira was the one she was really angry at.

Turning toward her mate, she kissed him and said, "I'm sorry if I seemed a tad aggressive just now, love, but Sira's presence here isn't exactly sitting too well with me. I didn't hurt you, did I?"

Philippe was grinning from ear to ear as he looked at Athena. "Are you kidding me? That was the best sex we had yet. We should make you mad more often."

Noelle growled as she let go of Sira. She stood up and looked down at her. "This isn't over."

Athena brushed his face with her hand and kissed him again. "I don't know, it felt...so unlike me. I've never had angry sex before."

Aphrodite smirked at this and was about to say something when she saw Calligenia come in. She looked at the clock and was surprised. Was it 3:00 already? Time certainly flew.

"Hello, Callie."

Calligenia looked at her mother. "Hi, Mom."

As her daughter spoke, Aphrodite detected a change in her voice. "Is something wrong, koukla? You sounded different just now."

Calligenia hesitated, but knew that it was wrong to keep things from her mother, especially when it was important. Finally, she sighed and decided to tell her what happened.

"Derek Carter tried to hit on me."

Aphrodite cocked her head. "Who's Derek Carter?"

"Charles Thompson's asshole friend," said Calligenia. "He cornered me in the hall today and...well, let's just say that he's lucky I didn't put him in the hospital, or worse."

"Come on, Callie, don't just end it there," said Aphrodite. "He cornered you in the hall and then what?"

"He had that look in his eye, like he wanted to rip my clothes off and rape me in the middle of the hallway," said Calligenia. "But, before he could go forward with his plan, I pushed him off me with my powers and kicked him in the crotch." Her heart pounded. "I...I nearly lost control, Mom. The animal in me nearly got out and if I let it, Derek would be in a body bag right now."

Aphrodite went to her daughter and hugged her. "Did you tell Dev about it?"

Calligenia nodded. "Yes, and he said that he'll help me fight my darker side tonight while we're babysitting for Aimee and Fang."

Keo nodded and said. "Don't worry, I've had to control my vampire side for so long. I had those same urges to kill, if anyone can get over it, it'd be you, sweetie."

Philippe shook his head. "Don't worry about it. Remember, I used to be with angry vampires all the time. But sex with them was never this pleasurable."

Athena rolled her eyes, scoffed and said sarcastically, "Gee, thanks."

No sooner did she say that than she could've sworn she felt something kicking her. It was the baby, but how could that be when she had only been pregnant for a few days?

"Gods, it's kicking already. Must be growing pretty fast due to the mixture of vampire and god blood."

Calligenia smiled at her father and it was then that she noticed Ion. Deciding to introduce herself, she went over to him.

"You must be Ion. It's an honor to finally meet you. I'm Calligenia, your sister, but you can call me Callie. Everyone else does."
