"Senior year? Fun...."

Isabella, or Bella, Argotera sat on her best friend, Maya Grayson's bed. It was a day before school started up again and Bella was not looking forward to it. Her amber eyes stared up at the ceiling in disinterest. She heard her other best friend, Calligenia, on the other side of the room rocking back and forth on a rocking chair.

Without warning, tears gathered in Bella's eyes. She sat up, her curly blond hair falling over her face. "I am not looking forward to seeing James again."

She could tell that Maya's blue/violet eyes looking at her with sadness in her eyes. Bella looked at her then. "What am I supposed to do about him and Missy?" Angry was definite by the end of that sentence.

Standing up then, Bella paced back and forth. She was wearing tight black jeans with a light blue sweater, also wearing no shoes.

James' room upstairs


Missy Jackson flipped her red hair over her shoulder as she leaned up to kiss James on the lips. She run her fingers through his black hair with a seductive tone in her touch. Her green eyes looked down into his eyes with hunger in her gaze. Her thin yet curvy body was covered by a sheer white gown that left nothing to the imagination.

She took James' hand and let him touch her breast. Growling at the pleasure she heard from him, she kissed his lips hotly.

"How's that, love?"

Kitchen, Grayson Mansion


Raven looked up at the ceiling in disgust as she shook her head. She could sense her husband coming in and she smiled only slightly. When she felt a kiss on her neck, she turned around, saying.

"We have to get that bitch Missy out of this house."

Richard nodded. "I couldn't agree more, love. James doesn't realize that Missy doesn't love him. She's just using him to make her ex jealous. I'd hate to have my son suffer heartbreak. I hope he wizens up and gets back together with Bella, the one he's meant to be with."

Maya looked at Bella then. "I know what you mean, Bells. She's a parasite. You're James's true love, not her."

She noticed Calligenia getting up out of the rocking chair. She looked like she hadn't slept very well. "Callie? Are you okay?"

Calligenia looked at Maya, her red-blue eyes droopy. "Not really. I haven't been sleeping too good lately."

"Is it because of that dream you've been having for the past five years?"

Calligenia nodded. "Possibly. I just can't shake it, Maya. I don't know why it keeps coming. And why my dream lover won't tell me his name. He gives me the same answer every time I ask him, 'You will know my name soon enough, mon ang.' Doesn't that sound hopeless to you?"

"Not so much hopeless as it is mysterious," said Maya. "I'm sure he will reveal himself at the appropriate time."

James smiled at Missy's kiss. "Mmm, tasty. I'm actually looking forward to senior year, especially when it means spending time with you."

Missy smiled and leaned down to kiss his neck. She knew that this would make Charlie jealous. Tomorrow, she would walk into that school with this hot thing on her arm and Charlie will come crawling back to her. All she needed was to fool this...what was his name again? John? Jeremy? James? Oh, that's right, it was James.

She turned around and leaned against him. Closing her eyes, she felt James start to kiss her neck. She instantly pulled away before saying. "It's getting late and I told my parents I would be home to get ready for school."

Getting off him, she kissed his cheek quickly as she left his room. When she reached Maya's room, she looked in and smiled in a very bitchy way.

"Hi girls, see you tomorrow at school!"

Waving sarcastically at them, Missy made her way out the front door.

When Raven heard the door slam shut, she sighed in relief. "Thank god. I thought that little tramp was never going to leave."

Bella growled as she saw Missy, but the little slut didn't take notice. She then suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Calligenia, who up close, looked worse for wear. She felt for her friend and she thought she had it rough.

Hugging Calligenia close, Bella said to her. "Don't worry, your dream man will show up eventually."

OOC: Maya has blue-violet eyes and black and violet hair. I kind of goofed on the profile.

IC: Richard growled. "I could kill her, you know. An energy blast right through her black heart."

Maya growled at Missy like Bella did and wished she could strangle the little bitch for taking advantage of her brother.

She smiled at Calligenia. "Yeah, Callie, don't worry about it. You'll meet Mr. Dream Stud when the time is right."

Calligenia sighed. "I hope you're right. I really want to know who he is and what he looks like. His face is always in the shadows every time I see him."

James smiled as Missy left. She was beautiful, like a model. He was always happy around her and looked forward to tasting her lips.

Bella smiled as she patted her friend's shoulder. "At least you have someone, all I got is a jackass who doesn't even know I exist anymore." She then sat on the bed again.

"When we were dating in middle school, he was always the first one to pay me a compliment, the one to always hold the door for me, but now he won't even acknowledge me. What changed?"

Raven smirked as she gently patted her husband's chest. "Yes you could, darling, but I think that would be called murder. The best thing we can do is wait until James wises up and deal with the little spoiled brat."

Maya joined her and placed her hand on her shoulder. "Bella, you did nothing wrong. James has been brainwashed by that evil bitch, Missy Jackson. He has his head so far up his ass about her that he doesn't realize just how right you are for him."

Calligenia nodded. "I just wish we could employ Eros's services. He could shoot James with a lead arrow to kill whatever feelings he has for Missy."

Richard sighed at that. As much as he hated to admit it, he knew Raven had a point. "You're right. I'll wait for James to wizen up before dealing with Missy." He kissed her gently. "I'm sorry, Raven, it was wrong of me to say such things. It's just...well, I remember what happened to Conner last year when Angelina Quinton broke his heart and told him she was a lesbian. I'd hate for James to be hurt the way his brother was."

Raven smiled sadly, she remembered the way it broke Conner's heart and she could sympathize with her husband, she didn't want James to end up heartbroken as well.

She kissed her husband back. "That's alright, just remember to keep your demon side to an minimum, at least until we get in bed later." Rubbing herself against him proactively, she heard soft moan escape his lips as she whispered as his lips. "Meet me upstairs in fifteen minutes, after I get these kids to bed."

With that said, Raven walked away, her hips swaying slightly to make her husband's hunger for her rise even more. Walking down the hallway, she heard Maya, Bella, and Calligenia. She said to Maya.

"I think it's time for Bella and Calligenia to go. It's almost ten and you have an early rising tomorrow, young lady demon."

Maya, upon hearing what her mother said, groaned. She positively hated cutting an interesting conversation short, especially when it involved getting James to see just how big a bitch Missy Jackson truly was.

She went to say something in protest when Calligenia interrupted her saying, "Thanks for the reminder, Raven. I'm actually kind of tired and I promised to be home early anyway."

Looking at Maya, she added, "Talk to you tomorrow?"

Maya nodded. "Sure." She looked at the bags under Calligenia's eyes again. "Try to get some sleep, Callie, you'll feel better."

"I will," said Calligenia. "Though, that'll be easier said than done because of that stupid dream."

That being said, Calligenia hugged Maya good-bye, then Raven and Bella, and closing her eyes, she disappeared from their sights.

Richard headed toward the master bedroom and along the way, he saw James' door open. He approached the room and stood in the doorway, watching his eldest son get ready for bed.

James saw his father just as he got his pajamas on. "Hey, Dad, is something wrong?"

Richard hesitated. He wanted to tell his son how he felt, but wasn't sure what kind of reaction he'd get.

"No, not really," he said finally. "Just amazed by how much you've grown, that's all. It seems like only yesterday that you were a baby. Now, you're a senior in high school. Gods, where does the time go?"

James eyed his father skeptically. "Come on, Dad, just tell me what it is you want to tell me. I'm not a little kid, you don't have to dance around the truth."

"Okay, you want me to be honest? Fine, I'll be honest." He sighed and then reluctantly met James' violet eyes with his blue ones. "James, your mother and I are concerned, mostly because of Missy Jackson. She's not exactly the sweetest girl in the world. I...we don't want you to get hurt. Your brother got hurt last year and..."

"Dad, that won't happen," said James. "I'm not Conner. I'm not going to be careless."

"I'm not saying that, son," said Richard. "I just don't want the same thing to happen to you, that's all." He approached his son and gently placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. "Be careful, James. Will you at least promise me that? Your mother and I love you very much. We want nothing but the best for you."

James wanted to say something, but the words burned in his throat. He knew what his father was saying, while at the same time, he felt torn.

Demon World, the Vanators' home


"Hey Callie! Where have you been? Mom and dad have been worried about you!"

Kyros Vanator made his way over to his sister as she appeared in the living room. His long blond hair flowed down his back as he approached her. His dark red eyes stared at her in concern. Being a God, Demon, and a Vampire, he had more sense of the world than most. He could sense his sister was troubled.

"What's wrong Callie?"

He led her over to the couch, which was blood red leather. He sat next to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. "Is it that dream again? Is it the same one?"

Bella saw Calligenia go and she said to Raven and Maya. "I have to go too, my mom is having mood swings again and I don't want to leave my dad in the crossfire. I'll see you tomorrow, Maya. And tell James I said good night."

Disappearing, she appeared in her room in Las Vegas. Even though she lives in Las Vegas, her parents wanted her to be close to her friends. Sighing, she remembered now that she was an hour behind her friends and it was almost nine at night. Walking out of her room, she walked into the kitchen and saw her mother.

Her mother was pregnant with her little sister at this point in time, about seven months pregnant to be exact. Her surprisingly short blond hair barely reached her shoulders as she turned her green eyes to her daughter.

"Hey Bella, what are you doing home so early?"

"Raven said it was time for everyone to hit the hay. Where's dad?"

Kat chuckled. "He's upstairs, naked as we speak." Bella looked disgusted, but she chuckled too. "Passed out?" Nodding, Kat said. "Yes, I guess I was too much for him."

Sitting down at the kitchen table, Kat noticed her daughter was troubled. Going over to Bella, she said. "Are you okay, love?" Bella shook her head. "Its James. I saw him with Missy again and... I don't know what to do. I love him, I know I do. And it seems that I loved him since I don't how long."

Sighing like her daughter, Kat placed her hand on Bella's. "Don't worry, he'll come around."

"But what if he doesn't?"

Smiling sadly, Kat said. "If he doesn't, then maybe it's time you find someone else as much as I hate to say it because you and James are meant to be. Even if that idiot doesn't see it."

Bella smiled as she hugged her mother. "Thanks mom, that makes me feel better."

"I'm glad."

Pulling back from her mother's embrace, Bella stood up, saying good night and then headed back to her room where she instantly changed her clothes, Goddess style. She closed her eyes and her light blue nightgown appeared. Climbing into bed, Bella closed her eyes and hoped that school will make everything better.

Calligenia rolled her eyes. She wished that Kyros didn't sense everything, but at the same time, she knew that he was concerned about her.

"Yes, Kyros, it is the same one. I don't know why it keeps coming." She sighed and ran her hand through her blond hair. "What am I going to do? I feel like I'll never know who the man in my dreams is or what he looks like."

Kyros frowned as he thought about that. "Why don't you ask mom? I'm sure as the Goddess of Love, she'll know."

All of the sudden, they heard a loud guitar solo from upstairs. Kyros grimaced. "Dad is teaching Xander how to play guitar again."

Calligenia smiled and kissed Kyros on his cheek before leaving the room. She went upstairs and, ignoring the loud guitar she and Kyros had heard, proceeded to the master bedroom, where she saw her mother, Aphrodite, seated in front of the vanity mirror, braiding her long, blond hair. She wore a pink silk nightgown with a deep V neck Keo had gotten her as an anniversary gift.

"Mom? Are you busy?"

Aphrodite turned and saw her daughter standing there. "Oh, Callie, no, I'm never busy for you. What do you need?"

Calligenia approached her mother. "I want to talk to you about this dream I keep having. It's been haunting me for the past five years and I don't know why. In it, there's this man who makes slow, tender love to me and when I ask him his name, he says, 'You'll know my name soon enough, mon ang.' Plus, his face is obscured by the shadows, so I don't know what he looks like in that area. The rest of him is muscular and positively gorgeous."

Aphrodite nodded. "Sounds to me like you've got a mystery lover. If he keeps telling you that you'll know his name soon, then maybe there's a good chance that you will."

"That's what Maya and Bella told me," said Calligenia. "But, what if he doesn't think I'm beautiful when I do meet him?"

"Oh, sweetie," said Aphrodite, getting up and hugging her daughter. "He will think you're beautiful. How could you not be? Your mother is the goddess of love and beauty. So, I wouldn't worry about that too much."

Calligenia could only nod in response. Finally, with a sigh, she said, "Thanks, Mom. I appreciate it."

Aphrodite smiled. "You're welcome, koukla." She kissed Calligenia on her forehead. "I love you, my sweet baby. Don't ever forget that."

Calligenia returned her mother's smile and with another hug, she went to her room, where she willed a nightgown on her and climbed into bed, hoping that talking to her mother had helped.

"Well, that was good rehearsal, son."

Keo Vanator ruffled up his son's, Xander, blond hair. Xander smiled as he placed his guitar back in the case. Almost as tall as his father, Xander was a full-blooded God, unlike his twin brother and sister. He also had light blue eyes like his mother.

He looked up at his dad. "So when are you going back to the surface?"

Thinking about that, Keo said. "Well, I'm not sure. The Bloodsuckers don't have another tour until next summer." Xander was almost giddy as he asked.

"Can I come with you on the tour this time? You said when I was sixteen, I could."

Ruffling up his son's hair again, Keo shook his head. "Ask your mother. But now I think it's time to go to bed, you have school tomorrow."

"Yes dad."

Watching his son leave, Keo then headed to the master bedroom where he saw the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen. Aphrodite was sitting front of her vanity, wearing the deep v neck nightgown he bought her. Silently closing the door with his powers and locking it, Keo closed his eyes and his clothes disappeared as he went behind Aphrodite and said.

"There's the most beautiful woman in the world."

Aphrodite smiled at her husband's voice behind her. "How did rehearsal go, akribos? Xander getting better?"

Keo smiled back. "Yes. My lessons are paying off." Kissing her cheek, Keo let his hand trail to the opening on her nightgown. "Did you wear this just for me, knessetul?"
