We do a lot of boondocking. In fact well over 50% of our time out is without any hookups.

This means that most of the time we are off in the middle of the back of beyond in places that are filled with BUGS. Now I can tolerate a lot of things, but those damned noseeums do me in.

Anyone have any good ideas for keeping noseeum cloth in place around a plastic overhead vent, such as the ones in the bedroom?

The side windows are metal, and some small powerful magnets hold dthe cloth in place nicely, but the overhead ones have me stumped. To get the cloth in place up there requires the whole assembly be pulled out and I'm not willing to go quite that far.

All suggestions considered... viable suggestions with be thrilled over.

velcro... use adhesive type velcro put the "hook" style on the ceiling, then put the "loop" style on the cloth, easy to take down or put up

Bless your lil cotton socks! I feel like I should be going "DUH"! I have such velcro IN THE TRAILER already, and just never tweaked!!!!

We leave in a few days for a month out into the Rockies of Canada, and it will be the acid test of velcro and cloth. Thanks for the timely suggestion!!

Oh wow, a trip without a nightly scourge of noseeum bites... I can hardly wait!

Another thing we do is keep our fans sucking out the entire time and only open one window. This creates a pretty strong cross draft which keeps the little buggers stuck to the screen on the roof top fan rather than biting us

We Boondock about 90% of the time, so I feel yer' pain!
