Just wanted to say "Hi" and introduce myself.
I'm from Missouri, though I have lived in Australia (WA) and Texas in the past. Camping and RV's have served as not just recreation, but as the place my parents called home several times in my life. As Missionaries to Australia I was home-schooled in a converted BUS we drove around the outback of Australia. That was a long time ago... but RV'ing is in my blood. I moved to America (Missouri) and married a girl who had never left the state other than her senior trip. :) Since then we have been to Florida, Tennessee, Colorado, Mississippi, Alabama, Indiana other states in between. She now loves travel as much as I do. I look forward to reading and learning tips and tricks from others.... my dad is still the biggest RV'er I know.... they currently have a large Winnebago that they use for trips and fun.... or just when they need to haul a lot of people. :) That about does it for now.... Oh, I am a Web Developer by trade.... self employed... have been for over 6 years now. The business has really given me flexibility to spend time with family at home... and have trips while staying connected to my work. (I am ALWAYS connected... :) Laptop, Phone, etc.) |

Welcome to the forum. we are a little slow, but sometimes it does get busy with discussions. We do have one of the largest and most active picture threads of any forum. If you have specific questions, fire away and someone will answer it.
Also, you will find we are not a very liberal group and there are threads and discussions about subjects some find objectionable. If you find a section or discussion that you find objectionable, please just skip it and don't bother to read it. Again, welcome to the forum. Bob |

Greetings! It must have been exciting to tour the Australian outback in a bus. What an adventure!
Welcome to the jungle. Hope you stick around for a while. Don't be afraid to speak your mind here. Just don't take offense where none is intended, as we'll freely speak ours as well. If you're not careful you might make a few friends here. I sure did. Chip |

Welcome yourguide! It's great to have new members! New Jersey girl here (though I was born in California). Married a Jersey boy and nine kids later, we have become Rvers because that was the only way we could afford to make a cross country trip in 2005. We are planning another one in 2013. I mainly post on the picture posting thread.
