Well, Speedway/Marathon, the new owners of T/A has struck again. Speedway
stations have refused to fly an American flag for many years now and this week
on Memorial Day, when a Vet truck driver ran a flag up the pole at the T/A in
Denton TX, they immediately removed it. It really doesn't make any difference to
me what the corporate offices in IN offer for a reason, I will NO longer even
consider T/A as a fuel stop.

That's really a shame. There's a T/A stop near my in-laws (in NJ). Next time we drive by, I will have to check it out and see if there is an American flag up.

Talked to a couple of OTR drivers here on our work site and boy are the truckers pi$$ed. T/A will lose big time over this one. They said the word spread like wildfire through the industry and that well over 50% of the OTR drivers are Vets. The ones I talked to had never stopped at that particular station, but did say that they were not going into another T/A until the owners issued a public apology and raised the flag daily.
