Chip, Kenny is my God when it comes to ATV’s and riding, but have a feeling we could take him on the range! We could put 13,000 down range in a day… Easy. :P :D ;)

Don,

though its been a while, I'm not too bad of a slouch on an ATV either. I started riding motorcycles when I was 12 and soon after began racing motocross, enduro and hare & hound. In 74 I built a turbocharged Honda 750 (with lots of engine mods) and tried my hand in the 1/4 mile. Later I built a 3 wheeler out of a Honda XL350 (not stock) and a Yamaha 125 3 wheeler (with a custom swing arm and triple tree.) At a time when the biggest ATV sold was a 185-200, it was king of the sand drags here in Louisiana at the time. Soon after I rode a Suzuki Quadsport 230 and a Quadracer 250. The last time I rode an ATV was in 1987 and I sold my last bike, a "canyon carver" FT500 Honda - again, not stock, in 2001, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty now, if not completely rusted through.

I still love riding though and have lots of happy memories (and not too many bad ones.) A few months back, I tried to order a couple of these (with disk brakes):

I guess I'm trying to re-live my youth, because a CT70 was my very first bike. The company I ordered them from couldn't supply them, so I had them send me my money back. I can't find them anywhere, but I'm still looking. Maybe I should just look for a couple of used ones for DW and me, and just fix them up. The reason I'm looking for something this small (other than price and the fact that it's not intimidating to my DW.) Is that I can strap one on the front and one on the back of my custom built Aliner carrier (they are only about 160lbs each) and take them with us when we camp. I can't do this with a heavier bike, and certainly not an ATV.
