I notice that this is a virgin heading for some reason. Kerene and I are going up to the Wisconsin rally in a few minutes, but will be staying in a cabin rather than uprooting our Coachman 37 footer and dragging it along. We have more camper than we want to tow at this point in our lives, and we don't want a smaller one.

I am looking forward to meeting friends and doing some dutch oven cooking for the crowd, even though we will be treated to spits of snow and a cool breeze. You have got to be a dedicated camper to camp in October in this state.

Hopefully, the fire will be warm and rekindling friendships will add to it.

The fires were warm, took only a couple of acres of forest to supply the wood, as it was a might chill. I think that every one had a good time from the looks of it though, and we ate and drank very well to keep the frost off ya know.

Kerene and I and the Mik's history goes back to about the turn of the last Millennium. We were among the original Wisconsin Rally crew, but I notice that I don't get any special privileges for that.

The cabin was so good we stopped by the office and reserved it for next year's rally. :D

I am not sure that I saw anybody other than them that we know, but this forum was discussed more than that other one which should increase the size of the membership here even more than it has been increasing.

Only good things, Marites! It was AWESOME to see Milt & Kerene again, as we haven't seen them in a few years. They are among those folks we consider to be special friends.
