just about there. the crest is 5 feet away. will be to crest on may 21. we will all see if the levees are capable of withstanding the pressure of heights never achieved before. water is already out of banks everywhere in northern counties of mississippi and tennessee. i have seen more work done by all agencies in the last couple of weeks. i am safe but there are others less fortunate. prayers go out for all in trying times. thanks for listening. the community is a great sounding board.

I hate to be the bearer of sad tidings, but there is more water coming!
It has been raining here for a week, up to 2 inches per day, and the forecast through Thursday is for more rain every day.
The snowpack in the high country is above average for depth and moisture content, and it hasn't done much melting yet.
There are flood watches and warnings all across Montana.
There is a LOT of water up here, and it is all headed your way. I hope it goes slowly.
