HOPES & DREAMS: Lorna dreamed since she saw her first Indiana Jones move about becoming an archaeologist. Though, eventually she would like to settle down and have a family and normal life with someone she loves.
CLOSET SKELETON: She has spoken to her parents since her powers awaken.
PERSONALITY: Lorna is a highly emotional person with a quick temper. She quick to stand up against what she sees as an injustice and for what she thinks is right. She is a stubborn and hardheaded. Once she gets an idea in her head, it is hard for her to get off it even if it proved wrong. She is quick to fight but also quick to ask for forgiveness, unless she does not like you then she has a hard time swallowing her pride.
She suffers from a case of bad self-image and is her own worse critic. On the surface she appears to be a laid back girl thats just one of the boys. She presents herself as being strong and confident in her actions and decisions; one might even say she does everything with a cocky swagger. But this is all an act, a front to cover up feelings and perceptions of being inadequate, being unloved and being unworthy.

OVERALL APPEARANCE/STYLE: Lorna is a woman with long wild green hair and jade colored eyes both her eyes and hair has a metallic tint to them. Her skin is pale. She is a bit under weight. She, though she will deny it, has a body that most normal girl and models for that matter would die to have. She tends to hold her arms close to her body and wear her hair in her face as is she trying to hide.
Truly a denim girl, she rarely is not seen wearing jeans. Her style is very tom boyish, though when the mood strikes her she will wear a skirt or dress. She wears lots of black, red and purple and likes to wear metallic nail polish.
POWERS & ABILITIES: Lorna has the ability to repulse or attract metal as she desire. She can mentally control and alter magnetic field to her will with the possibility to even reverse the polarity of magnetic fields. With very little concentration she can move and shape magnetic metals. With more concentration she can cause normally nonmagnetic metals to become magnetized and bend them to her will.
Lorna has a high electromagnetic field, which cause her to accidentally shock people with low level static shocks when she is nervous or gets startled. Through focus and training she can manipulate her electromagnetic field to create bursts or blasts.
By concentrating, Lorna can perceive the world around herself solely as patterns of magnetic and electrical energy. She can perceive the natural magnetic auras surrounding living beings, as well as objects. With the right training she can use this ability for navigation or tracking purposes.
Using her abilities she can create force fields, fly, disrupt electronics and radio signals.
Still new to her powers she has a hard time controlling her powers. When her emotions get high she gives of small EMP bursts that can give people around her small static like shocks, take out small electrical devices and make clocks and compasses go haywire. If she uses her powers too much she gets nose bleeds, head aches and can pass out.
Lorna knows basic Spanish, having already taken two years of it. She is an expert swimmer having been active in the sport since she was eight. Lorna has vast knowledge on history and geology, for they are her two favorite subjects. She took ballet and karate when she was younger so has some minor knowledge and skill in both activities. She played shortstop for her high school softball team.

OTHER PEOPLE OF IMPORTANCE:
BACK-STORY: Before Lorna was born her birth mother, Suzanna Roth, was in college when she met a much older man. They started a relationship but she broke it off with him once she found out she was pregnant. Lorna was born in San Diego, California. Her mother died in a mysterious plane crash during an odd electrical storm that left the plane ripped in two and magnetized, while she was still just a newborn. She was taken in and adopted by her mother's sister Tiffany and her husband Jordan. Lorna was told nothing about her birth mother or the fact she is adopted.
Lorna had her green mane since birth, which her parents always kept dyed brown so that she would not be so noticeably different. The Danes seem to put in a lot of effort to make Lorna appear normal and unremarkable. She had a rather boring childhood filled with her parents fussing and pushing her to be normal. All the pushing made Lorna feel like there was something was wrong with her as if she was some how defective. The Danes always kept a close eye on her after expecting her to do something wrong or evil. She kept to herself and had very few friends. She tried out for a feel sports team at an attempt to fit in and please her parents. She did her best to do well at school and be good to show her parents that they could trust her and they could lighten their hold on her but it never seem to work.
When she was sixteen she started to get real bad migraines and had trouble keeping her watch working, these were signs of her emerging powers. One night while she was studying for a test, her powers explode forth taking out the electrical system to the house. Her family thought nothing of it and neither did she, everyone just figured it was a blown fuse or an electrical surge. She did not give it much thought about until during gym class she began to have an extremely bad migraine. She went to the locker room to change out of her gym clothes and head to the nurses offices but as soon as she stepped into the locker room all the metal in the room including the lockers flew towards her. Startled Lorna let out a cry and all the metal came smashing down on her.
Lorna passed out and woke up three days later in the hospital. She was afraid and panic, her powers surged taking out all the electronics in the room and sending all the metal hurling towards her, again. Then she heard a voice in her head, the voice was Professor Charles Xavier. Xavier managed to calm her and help Lorna bring her powers under control.
Once everything was under control, Xavier explained to her that she had a gift. He offered her a chance to learn how to control and use her gift at his school. Knowing she could no longer pass as normal even is she tried, she agreed.
Since Magneto and his Brotherhood made strike on the Statue of Liberty Lorna has been teased about have the same power as Magneto and few of the kids have been calling her Magneto II and Magnetrix which usually leads to Lorna to get into a verbal or physical fight. Lorna, herself wonders if there is any connection between her and the man who shares her powers. She would ask her parents but they changed the number and moved without giving Lorna their change of address.

SAMPLE: Lorna stared at herself in the bathroom mirror. She was surprised how different she looked now that she had stopped dying her hair. The nature bright green looked better then the dull and rather dead looking brown her parents had her dye it to, at least she thought so. She thought her hair now made her look more interesting and alive then when she colored it, she just hope that the only thing interesting about her wasnt just her hair. She looked away from her reflection, she never been able to look at herself long.
Staring at her own image to long and she would start picking out flaws and plotting was to get rid of them. Her last effort to better herself she stopped eating for a week and went on an exercise binge that caused her to pass out during a training session. Not trusting herself not to earn her another stay in the med lab and a lecture, Lorna did her best to avoid mirrors and analyzing her flaws to much but still despite her best effort she had a hard a time stopping herself. Lorna was pretty sure the fact it was so hard to stop herself was a sign she was completely insane.
