I think that LEGO was trying to make a representation of Takanuva 2008. But then thought that using the dark 2008 MoL would be to big for Takanuva's body. So they were kind of cheap about it, so they just added the silver MoL instead. That is why Takanuva's body is gray and white.
Anyway, the MOCing pieces are pretty awesome. But I already have lots of black and white pieces. I'm trying to avoid those colors in future LEGO sets. They should of made Takanuva purple. I mean what is wrong with purple? Its a guy's and gal's color. Heck! Even Onepu has purple armor! This post has been edited by Matoro on Dec 15 2009, 09:16 PM |

I don't think it would be best to give him gold armor. It would defeat the purpose of trying to collect all the stars!

Well IMO the whole point of the stars is to honor Bionicle's past. They should have made him a representation of the first '03 Takanuva.

I dont think they wanted to make him the Titan Takanuva, the shoulders especialy make me want to think hes an original Takanuva remake, and if they wanted to do the Titan Taka, I imagine they would have used the gresh armor in gunmetal gray, made his torso white, and used his existing white armor peice in gunmetal gray. They remade Toa Tahu's mask for his incarnation, so I imagine they could have easily made a matching gunmetal gray mask, or even a new smaller mask.
