One interesting note for newer fans, this being in the early days of BIONICLE, is the use of the word Tohunga to describe the matoran. Back then, The LEGO Company had barrowed a few things from the Maori language and culture, and some words and names were not used with proper respect. This lead to a number of character name changes, and renaming the villagers "Matoran", since it was not proper to call all these characters the equivelant of a high priest in their language.

I wonder how they came up with the word "matoran" from. Also Roboriders was the best. I really like how their front wheel can be used as a wheel launcher weapon! Man! I miss those times! LEGO technic had lots of great interactivity with their sets back then!
