The gates of the Coloseum of Toa Metru are a series of three interlocking parabolic drawbridges which can be folded up into the wall opposite the spire or opened up, lying flat against the ground in crevices that open up to accommodate them. The smallest, innermost segment is almost always open, while the larger ones are opened during public events for ease of access. The smooth, geometric design is designed to absorb explosions and deflect elemental blasts, though most find it aesthetically pleasing as well.
There is no need to post here, the purpose of the gate is to define whether or not the coloseum is accessible. The smallest gate is currently open, allowing characters to pass through without any difficulty, though most vehicles are too large to fit.
