Not too much to say, just a little throw-together in LDD. 'd like to order that, though; it's metallic black, gold, and metallic red. =P

EDIT: Piece count: 104. Well, more shots added, though they revealing the flaws of the MOC more than I'd have liked.

That looks pretty awesome. But it can't be bought right?

I do like the colors, and the torso design, though the inner workings are hard to make out. Too bad not all parts come in all the colors we want. Id be happy if I could just order bunches of specific existing parts from The Lego Company. Would you have any objection to me saving a copy of this to our front page?

Unfortunately, no.

No, that's perfectly fine; it'd be cool to see this dude on the front page. Inner workings are mainly just pins and liftarms, though I'll admit that the middle of the torso's a bit hollow. =/

It's... interesting, the head's drooping.

Okay, when I think of "drooping," I tend to think like falling off, and I clearly don't see that here. =P If you mean hunched, then, yeah; XPlode as a set had a hunch, so I figured I'd keep the consistency.

I can't see what he looks like from the back, and as he's pretty rigid, I don't have much of an idea of proporions or scale either. But from what I assume (*tests colorscheme on pieces lying on the floor*) it's built well and looks pretty imposing. Can't tell with what I've got lying around, but from the pic at least, I'm not fond of the tan portions. That aside, It's a good design over all, but I could use some physical references (even if they're off-color) to work with before I ca really say anything final.

I didn't put any pictures of the back 'cause it was pretty empty with an Onua Mistika shield slapped on. The "tan" is actually gold, but LDD can't exactly process metallic colors (it's actually metallic black and metallic red).

But physical references to what, exactly? Just different angles?

That'll definitely look beter than I had imagined, then. By 'physical references' I meant an MOC of similar design to demonstrate its poseability, intended stance and proportionality.

Oh. Well, like I said, all I have of this little throw-together is the digital model. But it uses a similar frame to many Toa MOCs of mine (the triangle Technic pieces for the shoulders, neck connection, and upper torso, and varied armor patterns for the chest and back), all of which have the standard thirteen points of articulation (head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, ankles, and hips).

I guess the unfortunate thing is the sheer amount of pieces that don't exist in certain colors (pretty much all of the BIONICLE and Hero Factory pieces used were recolored to pearl gold or metallic red/black), so there's no real way to see how those colors would really go together.

The original had its BACK huched as well, this one has a strait back, making it awkward.

The original had its head sticking out of its chest. Besides, not all people have perfectly straight necks.
