Which year of BIONICLE.com did you like the best and why? Mine is 2001 because sometimes they used real-life photography.

2006. Because other great things in my life occured in 06 and every time I think Voya Nui, I get extreme nostalgia.

My favorite year of Bionicle.com was 2007. They kept the history of bionicle from 2001-2007 (in the 'timeline section'). And it was nice that they saved 2004+ comics and bios. But I didn't understand why they didn't keep the 2001-2003 stuff.
Today, I don't understand why they have to get rid of the bionicle timeline section of the site. I really missed that. In 2007, they even had metrunui.com up and running! |

Hmm...what year was the Mata Nui Online game running? That was probably the year I enjoyed the site the most.

That was 2001. But the MNOG was incomplete. I think they added 1 chapter per week to the MNOG. I think the MNOG finished in middle of 2002. So basically, your favorite year Imatron, would be mid 2002. |

Hmmm. 2003, I'd say, cuz it was epic with the Bohrok-Kal calcitrating Toa Nuva hindquarters, and then the Makuta's hands, the Rahkshi, coming and teaching the Toa Nuva some more lessons about life, and then the (supposedly) epic game of Kohlii in the Dark, and this really big and powerful titan who did this awesome door-opening move, and the secrets revealed of a world bigger than a single island.
And did I mention Matoran Hahli? Yesh, MNOG2 was aweshum. =3 ~EW~ |

2002, because I like bohrok. I like bohrok very much.
Bionicle was at it's best point, because it opened up so many different possible ideas, but in 2004 LEGO started to "explain" everything, and cut most of those ideas off. I liked it when therewas so much left unexplored, and I think that surely they could have gone through the series keeping some of those doors open. Besides, everyone likes a good army of robo-chickens led by a pair of dinosaurs, and the Exo-Toa were simply brilliant. It was a pity that their storyline relevance was removed, and they became another tool of Teridax (who, by pure coincidence, is now 'the Makuta' again) |

My favorite was the year 2006 (piraka year, right?) because of that countdown timer that got me all hyped up.

2006, a depressing story made it great, and everything seemed like it was lost half the time, which is awesome in my opinion!
2001 was also great, the Mata were cool. |

I would say 2006, one of the best years EVER. Of course the first years are just classic and origonal, but still 2006 not thinking of its nostagia from the early years.

It's a bit hard to say, but I loved the first two years for their mystery on the island, the third for upping the stakes with wanton destruction, 2006 for the Piraka, 2007 for the Mahri/Barraki and 2009/10 for the final battle. It's easier to say which year I didn't like, and that was the whole deal with the Hordika and mutations and stuff in 2005. Apart from that, I've enjoyed most of BIONICLE up to Bara Magna. I never liked the Agori/Glatorian, but I accept them and the new setting the series has got.
The online serials may have been some of my favorite stories from the Matoran Universe, so the years when those went on may have been my overall favorite ones. Nothing can match the nostalgia and feel of the first few years, though. |

Personally my favorite year was the 2002 model year. The bohrok were one of my favorite BIONICLE set series. So very portable and fun. You could roll them up into their ball form and take them pretty much anywhere. And then they had that epic neck attack action. I used to ashamedly beat up my Toa all the time by doing it because it was addictively fun. In fact, I was prone to breaking the rubber bands on the necks because I did it so much.

I think my favorite was when they started making Glatorian comics. When were they given out? My sis still has those comics, even though they are dog-eared, you can still read them.
