12:13 a.m. the clock read as the young boy stared at the hands on the face of the clock. Sitting in the common room alone gave him nothing but the want to leave and do something more, interesting shall we say. Gazing around the empty room making sure it was as empty as it sounded, he escaped from the walls of the green and silver common room. Hustling through the dark silent corridors, Sebastian was on a mission.
Up a flight of stairs, right, left, left, right. The halls were so silent he could hear the swooshing of his school robe behind him. Usually he changed the second he got out of classes, but today he didn't feel like it. Something unusual, but everyone had their days to be lazy. He crept along the corridors stopping and peaking around corners to make sure he was in the clear. The young Slytherin wasn't one to get caught and he wanted to keep that trait about him. He wanted nothing to spoil his night of studying. Oh yes, the boy was sneaking out to study. Something very uncommon for such a young Slytherin, but in the world of Sebastian, it wasn't uncommon at all.
Approaching a door at the end of the corridor, he looked up and read the sign announcing that it was the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. It was a class he adored, a classroom he adored. All the gadgets and books for him to use and study, it was like heaven to him. Attempting to turn the handle, it wouldn't budge informing him it was locked. With a small smirk playing at his lips, he pulled his wand out from his back pocket and pointed it at the doorknob. "Alohomora." His voice was barely a whisper, his cold and twisted ways behind every syllable of the word. The was a small pop and the door opened slight. Grinning to himself he pushed the door open as slowly and quietly as he could.
Sebastian entered, being as quick as he could to close the door behind him. Now that he had reached his destination he wanted nothing but to be disturbed. Then again, it was the dead of night. Most students were sleeping and a lot of them were too big of goodie-goodies to be sneaking around this late at night. He was in the clear. Nothing could stop his hunger to learn his beloved Dark Arts.
Stepping in the room farther, his wand went out in front of him. "Lumos." Now that he was inside of the room, his voice was now just slightly above a whisper. He walked along the outskirts of the room, looking over all the books that he longed to read. His eyes stopped on one book pushed behind many others covered in the thickest of dust. Digging through the pile around it, he pulled it out and brushed off the cover. Secrets of the Darkest Art. His eyes widened. What was a book like this doing in the classroom? He remembered it as being a book banned from students, something that the Professors didn't want them to lay their eyes on.
Approaching the nearest desk, Sebastian sat down on the stool and placed the book on the table before him. Holding his wand over the book, he flipped open the cover and began reading over the text on the pages. It wasn't until after the door closed that he realized there was another soul in the room with him.
