It's all in the eyes. Penny has pretty bright blue eyes to match her light blond hair.
It's all in how you work it. Penny is still only thirteen so she doesn't have many curves to her, and she's also still pretty short, only about five foot. She is lanky looking though because she hasn't filled out quite yet. She's a typical preteen girl.
Isn't there anything special? She has little thin scars on her arms and hands from a wily rabbit she used to own.
What's with your clothes? Penny wears t-shirts and jeans when she can. She isn't much of a girly-girl so you won't find her in a skirt unless it's school uniform.

What do you adore?the outdoors, making friends, good food, holidays, being with her family, being surrounded by people, researching the muggle world, cooking, baking, and planning events with her friends.
What do you despise?the dungeons, making enemies, having to stay at school for the holidays, getting bad grades, people making fun of her for being slightly awkward, burning a perfectly nice cake, feeling lonely, and missing her mother and father.
Tell me about your patronus. Penny's patronus would have to be the first time she got to bake a birthday cake for her older sister, she felt so achieved.
Is that a Boggart on your back? She fears losing her friends and family the most. It could be just losing them by moving to another country, but losing them none the less.
If you gazed into the Mirror of Erised... Penny wants to become a famous chef, even if it is more common for muggles to do so.
I want some details. Penny is kind, merciful, and sweet... most of the time. She's not pure sugar all the time, no one can be. She has a mean streak that she tries hard to keep hidden, and she's bad about holding grudges. If you were to get on her bad side, it would be difficult to change that. She takes out her frustrations on those whose personalities clash with hers, mostly in the form of screaming matches or angry tears.

Penny is very much a people pleaser as well. She wishes to make others happy, often putting them before herself. This often leads to trouble down the line, but in the beginning it really makes her happy. She likes to make others feel comfortable around her as well and tends to try too hard to be friendly, not knowing that if she were just herself people would like her just the same.

She is terribly quick to trust those who give off the aura of a trustworthy person. This can get her into trouble because sometimes even auras can be deceiving. She values her friendships and is a force to reckon with if provoked. Just like any child though, Penny is hopeful. She is generally excited about life and when someone lets her down, it seems to crush her for a while. Penny is a bit of a roller coaster when it comes to emotions because she gives her all; so when she's heart and soul into something it can lead to some major storms if it goes wrong. She wears her heart on her sleeve and if she feels betrayed, you'll know it.

Tell me all about your past. Born the last in the line of Creswells, Penelope Shannon is what you would call a giver. Since she was born she has seemingly been put on earth just to make others happy. Her family simply adored the fact that she was a little girl and that she was a well behaved little girl; like it was instinct. Her mother, ever the perfectionist, was very excited that she had an even number of boys and girls. Penny’s father was just happy that there would be no more baby’s after Penny.

Penny came into the world not so much kicking and screaming as crooning and giggling. From the very start Penelope Creswell was a happy go lucky sort of kid who rarely let things get her down. Since she knew from the very beginning what her family was (wizards), she had no problem with seeing her mother do magic in the kitchen or hearing her father talk about goblins at work. She grew up wanting to be exactly like her mother who wielded a wand flawlessly.

As she got older, Penny started emulating her older sister, following her almost everywhere, much to the displeasure of the latter. But somewhere along the line, the happy little child quit being so happy and somehow turned into a human roller coaster. If even the slightest thing went wrong the water works started and were almost impossible to turn off. It didn’t really seem as if Penny could help it either, it wasn’t something that she was doing for attention. Upon a trip to St. Mungo’s, Penny was diagnosed with a mostly muggle dominant disease, depression. The doctors said it wasn’t for any sort of reason that she was depressed; it was something chemical in her brain that was off. With the proper treatments, she would be able to live a normal life.

The next year she was accepted into Hogwarts and was swept off to the school. Penny immediately loved the place. The teachers, the subjects, the students, the ghosts; she loved everything about school. She quickly made friends and found her own little niche in the hierarchy that was school, much to her sister’s pleasure. She didn’t use her family as a crutch to keep going in school either, Penny branched out and made friends in her own year and seemed to fit in fine.

The years passed without any big mishaps and with very few meltdowns. She kept her depression under control for the most part and is still going strong as a third year. As long as she keeps to routine and nothing major happens, she can keep her illness a secret like she has for the past two years.
