Appearance: A salt-and-pepper grey man, clean-shaven and close-cropped. He is almost never seen without the formal uniform of the KD-Paradesgruppen, the organization within Clan Dynamo that was under his personal command.

The uniform consists of:

• Pleated dress pants in navy blue.
• Black ankle-high boots with high polish, worn with wool socks.
• A short-sleeved, button-down shirt with collar and black necktie
• A navy-blue tunic with shoulderboards and lapel insignia*
• Navy blue peaked cap with black top face and black leather brim, as well as the brass elm-leaf insignia of Clan Dynamo.
• A double-loop braided lanyard worn on the left shoulder, in this case of gold, representing a Gruppenchef-level officer.
• A leather belt over the tunic with shoulder-strap, with handgun holster.

*Hanz's rank insignia is of an elm link. His unit insignia is blank.

In addition to the standard formal uniform, Hanz carries a saber at the left hip, denoting his military authority (purely ceremonial and administrative officers carried Drill Canes). He also has the following decorations worn on the left breast, here in order of importance:

Bio: Hanz was the senior NPC officer of Clan Dynamo, answering to the player-character officers on the Clan Council. Following the dissolution of the clan with the retirement of Locke LeCruset, he became a member of the Condotierri's First Brigade. With the dissolution of the Condotierri, he is now a freelance trainer for medium-sized guilds looking to instil an appropriate level of paramilitary discipline to their clanners.
