Sage helped them to collect things up. "Hopefully, that should be the end of it. We've only got about another mile to cover before you should be in the clear."

Once the carriage was hitched, Sage kept the party moving at the best speed they could reasonably cover with loose ammunition in the carriage. A mile at this rate would take them a thoroughly uneventful twenty minutes to cover.
"Well, now. That's clear skies..." Rodney looked up at the stars. He knew a few of the star-signs, but he couldn't read them nearly as well as Todd or Gretta could. "Yeah... clear skies." Sage whistled to him. "Hey, eyes front. We still have to get back." "Huh? Oh, yeah." |

"Yeah...the skies here in Baron are beautiful in the less industrialized areas," said Kaitlyn as she looked up at the stars, still maintaining the fast pace Sage had set them to. She didn't have to read them; just admire them.
Serac, while impressed by the stars' beauty, was more focused on getting to the edge of the mists so that Sage and Rodney could get back safely. And then, as suddenly as they had been ambushed, the mists ended. Sage walked the carriage a few paces past the edge, before beginning to unharness his mount. "Well now, ladies, I think that sees you clear."
