Seeking Salvation, (Open)

Errai found them twenty minutes later, arms full of blanket. "Huh! Well aright then. I'll just..."

He dropped the blankets and put two on Alexander, then considered the situation. Then he stopped. "Yeah okay that's some saccharine stuff right there. Eri! We're playing Skandivian Rules Indoor Quidditch."

Astraea rose her head towards Errai, and grunted. Alexander however, showed no signs of disruption.

[cielo]

The night would go on, with Saeun having to heal many bruises. Though they were in a comfortable locale the clanners were still in hostile territory, and over the course of the night each took watch in turn. Come morning before the rest were awake, it was Eriad's watch.

The former pirate got off the floor in the bootroom, rattled his saber and checked his pistol. He checked outside, found it still raining, and ducked back in. Everyone else would probably be waking up soon.

Alexander woke up, surprisingly not sore despite his chosen resting place. He found someone had covered him with blankets and figured he should ask who in order to give them proper thanks, which made him remember something else.

He rose, reminding Astraea not to worry herself, and proceeded towards the common area in search of Saeun, who had hopefully awoken.

Saeun was indeed awake, checking a map. Coffee was brewing and seven mugs were set out. "Mr Cross, good to see you looking better. How was your night?"

"It was warm, thanks to whoever placed the blanket over me. And speaking of thanks, I am in need of repaying you for saving me."

[cielo]

"That will hardly be necessary. And it was Errai, I believe."

[RavenXI]

"No, I insist. I may not have much in the way of coin, but I have myself, and Astraea to offer towards your cause. I remember you saying you wish to aid the inhabitants of this region. This works well with my goals as well. Something valuable was nearly taken from my family, and the perpetrator has fled here. I will only be able to return once he has been brought to justice."

[cielo]

"A temporary member of Clan Andraste? Or more long-term, do you think?"

[RavenXI]

"Temporary, for now. But we shall see once time has come. I have.. duties back home I must attend to."

[cielo]

"An interesting proposition. But I cannot just let you into my clan, you understand. Do you have fighting skills, or magic that would be useful in combat?"

For now, Saeun put down the map and laced his fingers.

[RavenXI]

"I do, and am more than willing to prove myself if necessary."

[cielo]

"I would hardly put you in a combat situation without having proven yourself first. When Errai wakes up, the two of you shall spar with my supervision. Is that satisfactory?"

[RavenXI]

"Certainly. Will we be armed?"

[cielo]

"Errai is almost never armed. What sort of weapon do you prefer?"
