The smoke settling in over the background din of the half-drunken patrons of the Ichor and Fang added just the right pubby atmosphere to the place, even if it was coming dangerously close to violating a local ordinance or two. Over the usual smoke of devilweed (a fairly blazé drug that was incredibly popular considering the near-nil effect it had on your mind and the definite impact it had on your lungs), the more distinctive aroma of vertleaf oil could be smelt, a less-legal and certainly more effective narcotic. Here on the forest floor level of Mobliz, it was no surprise that it was already dark at supper time, considering that even in high noon, it was but twilight here. An oil lamp on the porch illuminated the sign as well as the half-dozen folks standing around there, all clearly streetwalkers. There were, of course, three viera women, another viera man, a moogle woman, and a human woman, who seemed a tad young to be anywhere in this part of the city at any time of day. The door was open at the moment, through which the rowdy bar could be seen. Inside, amid the tables, people were eating, drinking, and playing games of chance. On the more distant tables, including one under the staircase to the floor with rooms on it, the odd shady figure is having a conversation amongst his fellows. It takes some looking, but an assassin or two is seen every odd glance, perhaps hired guards. It's clear from the way they're dressed they're not with the Assassin's Guild - these are renegades, protecting the holder of their contract.
That holder stands behind the bar, adjudicating a host of waitstaff as she poured drinks and controlled the kitchen crew. A somewhat smallish, slim human, dressed as one might expect in an off-white shirt, a dark purple vest, and black dress pants. A strange sigil is stitched into her vest. Maybe you know what it means?
Off to the side, performing the odd trick of legerdemain, stood the famed street magician Kate Sidhe, and from the look of money changing hands, he was interested in selling his toys today.
