"Start the lift, kupo!"
"It's not safe, kupo!"
Brabham drew back the hammer on his old flintlock pistol, and the lift started to move, "... Adios Amigo!"

The gun fired, but rather than a lead bullet, a bright rubber ball flew from it, knocking the technician out rather than killing him.

"Heheh. That was classic, Kupo." The moogle reloaded the gun with another rubber ball, "Okay, get ready to jump and grab the railing when we get to the top, because this thing empties right into the forge."

Cochran would have heard a bell ring as a lift reached the other end of the dock he was at. A large compliment of people, perhaps thirty or so, disembarked from it, moving at a high pace toward the incomplete ship from before. Twelve of them, six each, were carrying large boxes, roughly the size shape of a human coffin, but significantly larger. Most of the team were moogles, but there was a human, a bangaa, and a Nu Mou present as well. One of the moogles, dressed in a black suit rather than the jumpsuits the other wore, turned to the human.

"You will remain at the Manufactory, kupo, until your investigation is completed."
"Yes sir, Mr. President. You lot, prepare the Mako for immediate launch!"
"Aye kupo Aye!"

All that remained on the dock now, as the others clambered onto the seeming-incomplete airship, were the Human, "Mr. President", the Nu Mou, and the Bangaa.

"With all due respect, Doctor Crantz, I do not like the idea of those things aboard my ship. Request permission to double the security detail."
The Nu Mou shook his head enigmatically, "It's your ship, do what you like, but the devices are perfectly safe. They aren't even finished yet."
"That's what worries me."
"Perhaps, kupo, it would be best if Mr. Director left the security to Mr. Adez."
"As you wish, Mr. President. Famfrit guard your travels; I will be in Galbadia by morning."
The moogle squeeked, "And you had best be! Do not fail me, kupo!"
The human gave a slight bow, and the Nu Mou and the moogle boarded the ship. The bengaa turned to the human, here, "I will consssult your XO about the bessst choice of ssssecurity detail, Director Kindheart."
"Thank you, Adez. You know the code to disable the phantasm array and activate STRIKETHROUGH?"
"No sssir, but the Presssident doesss. Go with god."
The pair saluted each other, and Adez boarded the ship.

It was at this point that the gunshot echoed up from below, "Mr. Adez!"
"Mr. Director?"
"Skip the preliminaries and prepare for immediate launch! We're too late!"
"Aye aye!"

Otz picked up the rubber ball Brabham had shot, and examined it. "Seems effective, kupo."

Babel said nothing, watching the lift rise.

The sound of gunfire distracted Cochran from hearing whatever he was listening into which didn't interest him in the least bit; he quickly went around the speaking people and appeared below the lifts. He gazed upwards and saw the lift, slowly shrinking as it went farther up. "The gunshot did sound like it was coming from there, kupo...but how do I get up there?"

At this point, the man in white ran ahead of Cochran, drawing a sabre from other his cloak, "Alert! Security to the foundry area!"
"Aye aye."

"Jump now, Kupo!"

Unfortunately, Brabham's timing brought the group face to face with the Man in White, "... You!"
"I should say the same. Welcome to Dollet Manufactory, Brabham the Gray."

Two security officers, armed with guns much more advanced than the old flintlock Brabham carried, "Orders sir?"

Cocking his head to the side, Babel examined the security guards' guns from where he was. Unless they fired magical bullets, he'd be just fine, but he wasn't too sure of their capability in that regard.

He then directed his attention to the man in white, with an almost apologetic expression. How was he supposed to know he was aiding a criminal when he signed up for this?

Otz eyed the guards, pistol held at the ready. He figured he didn't really want to get shot, but he wouldn't back down or get away, either.

Cochran followed the man in white and stood behind him. He eyed his would-be adversaries warily; his tiny hands slid up and down the hilt of his dagger, almost ready to toss when the order was given. He twirled and tossed his dagger in the air, and within seconds several daggers had appeared and he caught them all by the hilts. Blood rushed everywhere in his body. He was nervous, but he calmed himself down. He was ready for a fight when it came to one.

"I'll make you a deal, Brabham. If your crew can defeat this group, you can leave here with your cannonballs. In fact, I'll sign your artillery license personally. No catch."
The moogle rose an "eyebrow", "And if we fail?"
"If we fail, you go home. Something tells me none of you would last particularly long in the Prison Sands."
"... Kupo."
"ENGAGE!"

A judge appeared, "Today's laws prohibit the use of Blue Magic and Steal!"
"Dammit!"
"Heh, kupo day to do this, eh?"
"... Begin!"

Otz immediately aimed for the right guard's gun, to try and disable it or disarm him. Even if he failed, he might still hit the guard.

The laws didn't particularly bother Cochran in any way; he didn't intend on using thievery anyway. He took out his dagger and charged at Otz, thrusting a knife at him. With a flick, he used two daggers to follow with a flurry of swings and ended the combo with an upward swing.

-Fang Rush: Run straight at the enemy with knife in hand.
-Fang Assault: A myriad of slashes run through the foe, ending with an uppercut.

Remaining silent, Babel solemnly raised his ethereal mace, which proceeded to bathe him in an odd light.

Increase: A modified version of Raise, this support spell slightly increases Babel's POW for three turns.

Theme, both Missions: Bombing Mission - FFVII

The guard did in fact drop his weapon, drawing a baton to rush Otz. Brabham jumped over this other moogle, firing a rubber ball at Mr. White, who ducked around it with a spin. The man kept his saber at his side as his hired help rushed past him, the weapon glowing with a white-blue light, surrounded by motes of the same. The light would suddenly surge up his arm, infusing him, seeming to move in a flowing spiral into his chest.

"Defense of St. Ingrid!" The flashed, remaining a pulsating glow.

The other guard ducked sideways behind, ironically, a crate of cannonballs, and sprayed fire upon Babel.

Mr. White:
Reflex - Chivalry Tech - Dodge physical attack
Defense - Chivalry Tech - Raise DEF and RES.

Guard Right:
Fight (melee) - Otz.

Guard Left:
Fight (ranged) - Babel

Brabham:
Fight (Ranged) - "Mr. White".

Otz instinctively ducked the right guard's attack, and escaped Cochran's attacks with a few cuts and would-be bruises. He ducked around the guard and shot at the back of his torso.

Cochran, safe from any attacks, took a backstep and tossed a dagger vertically on the floor. It stuck onto it, and a portal opened up, sending knives flying upwards around him at Otz. The portal sealed as he leaped into the air and threw a volley of five knives which landed at an X pattern at Otz's position, which erupted in ice and exploded.

Cochran: 100%
-Red Joker: Knives ascend from around the user, damaging all enemies around it.
-Frozen King: Throw several knives on the floor in an X pattern that causes ice to jut out and explode, doing ice damage over an area and can slow enemies.
