Babel Latinspeak
A deceased Nu Mou that is somehow tethered to the mortal plane, Babel is a bit of an oddity. He speaks in riddles, and his spells are slightly more powerful than the average Nu Mou... Weaponry: Maces, Rods, Staves *Note: Babel cannot use a sub-job with this job equipped. ~~Unique Ability~~ Lost in Translation: Babel quickly translates his speech back and forth between five different languages, then speaks to the enemy. 95% chance of Confuse. If this move fails, Babel cannot use this ability for the rest of the battle. A-Abilities: Magician of the Time Tax: An upgraded version of Haste, Babel can cast this on an ally or himself to grant them double actions for three turns. During this time, they may not use any ability with a damage modifier over Heavy. Characteristics: An upgraded version of Quicken, Babel can cast this on an ally to grant them an immediate turn. This spell also boosts the target's DEF and RES slightly for one turn. Slowly: An upgraded version of Slow, Babel can cast this to inflict Slow status on enemies in summon range. One is Reflected: An upgraded version of Reflect, Babel can cast this on an ally or himself to grant Grand Reflect status.* Effect: An upgraded version of Stop, Babel can cast this on one foe to inflict Stop status, as well as one of the following: Dispel, Poison, Frogshape, Addle, DEF-down, RES-down. Peace: An upgraded version of Silence, Babel can cast this to inflict Silence on all combatants excluding himself with low accuracy. One random unit will also be afflicted with Drop Weapon. Site One: An upgraded version of Quarter, Babel can cast this to cut one opponent's HP by 25% of its current value, as well as inflict Immobilize. Means: An upgraded version of Demi, Babel can cast this to cut one opponent's HP by 50% of its current value, as well as inflict Mini. A-Abilities: Authority of Sagacity Direct Transference: An upgraded version of Drain, this attack spell deals low damage and drains HP. In addition, the target is moved toward the caster. Screen of the Light Bulb: An upgraded version of Blind, this attack spell deals a varying amount of damage and Blind. Damage dealt is based on the target's proximity to the caster. Water: See Sage. Aero: See Sage. Bio: See Sage. Increase: A modified version of Raise, this support spell slightly increases Babel's POW for three turns. Rocket of the Scale Model: An upgraded version of Giga Flare...actually, this one's self-explanatory. Takes one turn to charge. Effect of the Past: Babel falls into a deep sleep for two turns. During this time, attacking him will not wake him up. Regardless, anyone who attacks him at melee range will be struck with Ultima Blow, and anyone attacking from farther away will be hit with Water and Aero at the same time. Once Babel awakes, he will be granted Auto-Regen and the use of Ultima Blow as an A-Ability. Can only be used once per battle. R-Ability: Ecto-Barrier: Babel will negate any damage inflicted by first-tier spells, unless he is afflicted by a status condition. If this condition is met, this ability is as Counter. S-Ability: Ghostly Defense: Babel is immune to all non-elemental melee attacks. As a result, however, he takes increased damage from magic. Furthermore, Babel is immune to KO, Doom, Charm, and Berserk. *Grand Reflect: Same as Reflect, but bounces back Summon Magic, Spirit Magic, and Phantasm Skill as well. -------------------- Number of times I've been shot as the messenger: 0

Ninian Frost
A shy, yet graceful girl; Ninian utilizes the power of ice to attack her foes. There's also the matter of the mixed blood coursing through her veins... Weapons: Wielder's Sword *Note: Ninian cannot use a sub-job with this job equipped. A-Abilities: Frigid Tech (when untransformed) -Wielder's Tactics: Using the Wielder's Sword, Ninian can use any Soldier, Fencer, or Mog Knight ability, excluding Ultima Charge. However, these abilities have their potency reduced by about half. -Ice Sword: As the Gladiator ability. Ninian's version, however, can inflict Stop for one turn. Cannot be used twice in a row. -Ice Breath: As the Dragoon ability. -Blizzard/ara/aga: As the Black Mage abilities. -Freeze Lancer: Shoots an array of icicles forward. Moderate ice damage in a line. -Absolute: Creates a chilling field of ice around the foe. Heavy ice damage and Slow to one target. Low accuracy. -Cold Spiral: Ninian twirls around gracefully, emitting cold air as she spins. For the rest of this turn, if an enemy attacks Ninian from melee range, they take moderate ice damage. -Mighty Guard: As the Icedrake ability. -Dragon Morph: Using the power of her dragonstone, Ninian can transform into a mighty ice dragon. Takes three turns to charge, and can be interrupted if the dragonstone is targeted. A-Abilities: Freezing Skill (when transformed) -Unmorph: Ninian can untransform at any time without using up a turn. However, this cuts all of her stats, excluding HP, in half for three turns. -Nature Adept - Ice: Self-explanatory. -Stomp: Exactly what it sounds like. Heavy physical damage. -Dragon Force: As the Thundrake ability. -Tail Whip: Swings a large tail around to strike. Moderate physical damage in a wide range. -Tundra: Covers the battlefield in snow. All ice attacks are increased in power by one damage level, heavily armored units have their movement range halved, and Ninian will regain 5% HP each turn. This condition lasts for five turns, and can only be used once per battle. R-Ability: -Counter: Works as normal in Ninian's untransformed state. While transformed, however, Counter will cast Blizzara on the target. S-Ability: -Frozen Heart: Ninian is immune to Charm, unless the attacker's name is Sabata. Furthermore, Ninian absorbs ice damage and is weak to fire. *Other Notes: If Ninian's dragonstone is shattered during battle, she is unavoidably and immediately KOed and hellbinded. Hellbind is negated in Jagds. -------------------- Number of times I've been shot as the messenger: 0

Ryan Auron
Having lived on his own for longer than most people would like, Ryan's learned to adapt to changing situations to defend himself. However, he doesn't stand for attacks on the people he loves. Weapons: Facade Scepter; as-of-yet-unnamed light axe Unique Items: Silent Seal XVI *Note: Ryan cannot use a sub-job with this job equipped. A-Abilities: Magic Mastery Silent Seal XVI: Using the three pendants comprising the Silent Seal, Ryan's Fight command has a 30% chance of inflicting both Powerbreak and Mindbreak on the target. In addition, all of his magic attacks have a 20% chance of inflicting Blind or Silence. This ability must be used at the start of the battle for these effects to occur, though. Healer's Wisdom: Ryan can use any White Mage ability. Forces of Nature: The elements themselves bend to Ryan's will, but only to certain extents. His skill with holy magic is nearly unmatched, but his dark magic is only as potent as the average Black Mage's Thundara. Tsukuyomi: Once per battle, Ryan can attempt to take over an opponent's mind for one turn and make them use any ability they know. Typically, he will make the afflicted target themselves. This skill's accuracy depends on the target's mental resistance, and whether they see him actually performing the spell. Face!: If an enemy gets close enough, they risk getting hit by a sharp slap to the face. Low damage and Confuse to one foe. Woodcutter Style: Ryan can command the as-of-yet-unnamed light axe to become a separate unit in a battle. The axe has 40% max HP, absorbs Holy and is weak to Dark, and can only use Holy and the Fight command. This ability cannot be used in Clan Wars. A-Abilities: Silent Fury *IMPORTANT NOTE! -- This A-Ability set can only be used when Ryan is under extreme emotional duress. To date, the only times this moveset has been triggered were due to the death (or near-death) of a loved one. Earnest Ply: Praying silently to Mateus for some way of aiding the fallen, Ryan regains 25% HP and is granted Auto-Regen. Usable only twice per battle. Raging Inferno: A blast of anger erupts out of the earth. Massive fire damage in summon range. After using this move, Ryan is Berserked for one turn. Cold Fury: Ryan manifests his anger by imprisoning his target in ice. Massive ice damage and Stop to one foe. After using this move, Ryan is Berserked for one turn. Sadness Strike: Basically Face!, except it inflicts random water damage and doesn't confuse. Indignation: Focusing his magical energies, Ryan creates a circle on the ground, about as long as a Bangaa is tall. Anyone standing within the circle by Ryan's next turn is attacked for godlike lightning damage with 100% accuracy. Scathing Wind: Razor-sharp blades of air rush the foe. Heavy wind damage and Deep Wound in a line. Pain of Loss: A concentrated ball of rage is shot out from Ryan's fist. Godlike holy damage to one foe, but is extremely inaccurate. Last Judgment: Ryan's ultimate attack, which takes two turns to execute. On the first turn, he creates countless stone hands to latch onto the foe -- if the enemy is ground-bound, they are most likely inflicted with Immobilize and Disable. On the second turn, he concentrates the power of fire, ice, water, lightning, wind, and earth in a hexagonal formation, then creates a chaotic sphere of light and darkness in the middle. Then, he fires it off at the crippled foe, inflicting OHKO-caliber multi-elemental damage in a line. However, this comes at a cost -- Ryan's MP is totally drained for the rest of the battle, restricting him to Earnest Ply, Sadness Strike, and the Fight command. In addition, he loses the use of his S-Ability. Needless to say, this move is his last resort. R-Ability (when using Magic Mastery) Return Magic: Self-explanatory. R-Ability (when using Silent Fury) None. S-Ability (when using Magic Mastery) Light Grandmaster: Ryan absorbs holy-based attacks and converts them to HP. However, he is weak to darkness-based skills. S-Ability (when using Silent Fury) Magic Sentinel: This ability grants Ryan the same benefits as with Light Grandmaster, but also makes him immune to magical attacks. However, this saps him of his physical strength and defense. C-Ability: None. -------------------- Number of times I've been shot as the messenger: 0
