***PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS BEFORE BECOMING INVOLVED WITH THIS REGION***
Notes about the Deep and other lore included in the "Places" topic:
-If you don't know what the Deep are in general, read the "Sunken Colossus" section of the "Places" topic. Other than what's mentioned there, the Deep are tall, have scaly skin, have tendril-like fingers and toes, and have pointy heads with beady eyes of varying color. The rest is up to your imagination.
-The Deep are, for the most part, gone. Unless they are made into a playable race, they will not be coming back, other than those already housed in the Sunken Colossus. Please do not roleplay as if your characters are going off to fight a massive army of Deep there.
-The Wretched Ruins are no longer diseased. You will roleplay there without risk of infection.
-The townsfolk of the Cynic Outpost and the Deep housed in the Sunken Colossus are considered NPCs for now.
-The Primordial Territories were originally inhabited about 2000 years ago. Other than small pockets of folks and the Cynic Outpost, it is not currently populous. It is now, for the most part, an abandoned wasteland. Please keep this in mind while roleplaying.
Notes about the mechanics the Primordial Territories:
-Exploration is currently permitted. You may "find" any type of territory, except cities and dungeons. Cities may be added progressively as members continue to roleplay here; dungeons will be discussed in the next point.
-To add a dungeon to our list, just post a small description of it in the "Places" topic. If a staff member deems it appropriate, it will be added to the list. It can then be explored at any time by any member unless otherwise noted.
-Dungeons are meant to be cooperative. Although some strife may occur between two parties if they are both exploring at the same time, most dungeon-crawling should be against NPCs, not other characters.
More to come as problems arise...
