"Sorry, little missy. I couldn't bear ta retire. The chocobos are my life, ya know? The land ain't for sale," he explained warmly, patting the remaining chocobo on the head as it headed for the pasture. The chocobo, a golden male, headed over to it's red mate and 3 fledglings.
