*I had a very nice post here, but it didn't go through. If this post isn't as good, know that I didn't want to post twice*

Sarina dropped in, carrying ruffled papers. A tint of blood dripped down her blade.

"What did you find?" The Black Mage asked, his face hidden, as always, under his large hat.

"Missions." she stated simply, handing him the papers. He looked them over, studying them. He placed the papers in a pocket in his cloak.

"Did you find out anything about Clan Wars?" After a short pause, "That concerns us." At it's current state, The Shadow Clan was weak. It didn't have the power of all of it's members, and Cluny was nowhere to be found. He and his regiment were gone, leaving the Black Mage alone with Sarina and Foobar. And Foobar wasn't even here, he was on his own mission following Locke.

"Nothing. Yet."

"Well, let's not get too happy. I want a defensive team set up around our perimeter. A team of gunners. Where do you think we can get one?"

Sarina clutched her blade. "Not sure."

"Well, we'll have to look soon. Also, we'll need an airship. If we want transfer an army into battle, then we'll want that."

"I think I know of a place."

"Good."

"Also, I think I have found a way to increase my power..."

Sarina smiled.

"We have to start recruiting, Sarina. I am going to create my own regiment of the clan soon, since I'm not aware of everyone that Cluny has recruited. I'm sure he won't mind me strengthening the clan."

The Black Mage became silent. He began to ponder as he wondered what would happen...

"Stay here, I'll be back." Sarina said as she dissapeared.

A holigram/illusion of a man carrying a set of twin Peacemakers appears.
Vyse holo: Who's in charge!?

A large bolt of electricity devestates the illusion, coming from The Black Mage.

"Does that answer your question?"

The illusion reforms.
Vyse holo: Pretty much, yeah. I hear you are looking for men.

The Mage untenses... by a hair.

"That is true. What have you to offer me?"

"My aligence, and that of Variable X. We are small, but I have access to some useful gadgets you may find helpful."

"Very well. Consider yourself allied with my regiment of the Shadow Clan." There was a short pause. "But I can't let you in until I know you can be loyal, and I can trust you. I'm sure you understand."

The Black Mage told the hologram his idea of having a team of gunners protecting the base.

"... So, do you know how I can assemble such a team?"

"Well, me and Yuri could help, but outside of that, I don't have any gunners. Yet."

"How fast can you get here? I sense an invasion of my base, and I want to be prepared. I alone cannot stop an entire clan... yet.

"I personally can't come, but I can get Yuri there in a couple hours. He should be a big help."

"Well, when you do come, bring me some gunners."

At that, Two humans and a moogle walk in.
"I'm Yuri, kupo. Vyse sent me."

"Welcome." The Black Mage points at the trio that had arrived. Sarina drops in, searches them all. She takes all of thier weapons and sets them aside, hiding them.

"You can have these back later." Sarina nods to the Black Mage and leaves the base quickly.

"So, what are you strengths. But more importantly, tell me your weaknesses."

Yuri nods.
"We don't have any weaknesses. But I can shoot pretty much anything at 50 meters."
"I'm killer fast."
"I'm a shinobi. Enough said."
