SPBC is currently offering limited move-breeding by consultation, but not IV breeding. All pokemon will be traded in egg form.

Also, assuming HG/SS can trade with D/P/Pt early on, I've got plenty of Phanpy, if you could trade me a Cyndaquil egg, although I currently do not have access to Wi-Fi (can't connect to the college router, and I won't be home for very long this weekend).

I honestly don't know if it would work or not, but it's worth a shot. I'll breed up an egg quickyfast. Theoretically it'll have flamethrower, if I understand the theory correctly.

Eggyhatched, no such luck on the move (I failederized it).

I've beaten the Elite 4, entered Kanto and beaten Brock (because I have to do things in order), then put the game down to wait for my brother to catch up (we battle every 10 levels or so, this one's our level 50 battle). I can catch pretty much any Pokemon if anyone wants something.

Oh and Aredjay, you can indeed send over Pokemon from D/P/Pt early on. Before fighting the Elite 4 I got a Gligar from my brother and used Diamond to turn it into a Gliscor. You just can't evolve non-D/P/Pt Pokemon into D/P/Pt Pokemon (like Magneton to Magnezone) without the National Dex or a 4th gen game and a second DS.

I'm 50 hours in and still in the Johoto League. I need Claire; thats it. I rearranged my team at around hour thirty and spent fifteen hours grinding them up to level, then wasted a bunch of time on Pokeathlon.

Current team is Umbreon, Magneton, Xatu, Machoke, Shellder, Quagsire. Might swap some positions around, but that looks like what it'll be for the elite four.
