The Ghost dropped out of the sky and landed underneath a small cliff for CFD to come back.

"Now we wait" Kazer said.
"For what sir" Basil asked.
"Revenge"

Nosferatu laughed inside Kazer's mind, "I don't even have to tell you what to do and you do it."

In the shadow of the spire, dressed quite differently from before and now carrying the Damascus, Ekcol waited.

Kazer's face twitched as if something was troubleing him. "Hightor, Basil, Reno... you three head into the base after they have landed and kill anyone in there. Chaos and I will stay here and man the weapons just incase they use the Defiant." Kazer said.

The rest of the clan knoded and went off to prepare.

Reno went to his room where it was about the temperature of a freezer. Maria's body was laying in a half glass coffin. very little decay had taken place since she had died. Possibly because she was froze then buried with no oxygen to help with decomposistion. "Soon Maria.... You can see your brother"

Ekcol smirked, They're out there somewhere. Come on Locke. Let's see if you can ever do something without me.

NOsferatu gave Kazer an impression of him frowning, "He's here! MY new body is here!"

"Ekcol.... hmmm this may get complicated more than it is" Kazer said loking at the window. "With Raze's power to use anger and along with the blades makes it worse.... but the Bangaa with the same power and triple the anger seems almost immpossible to win". Kazer thought forgetting Nosferatu could hear him anyways.

NOsferatu listend silently. Sighting the ship on the horizon, Ekcol went inside.

As he always had, he would linger in the shadows until Locke needed him. Having seen Nosferatu move, he knew he would need the help.

Kazer twitched again. "They are here"

Reno left his room and went to the bridge.

"Reno.... I hope I can count on you" Kazer said.
"Of course"
"because you remember what happens to people I don't trust" Kazer said.

Reno knoded and left.

"They meet the feel of my blade" Kazer said.

Petra turned to Locke, "We're here."
"Excellent. Take my father below, and guard him with your life. Everyone else is to search the base as soon as we touch down."
"Aye aye. Come with me please, Mr.LeCruset."

As the door opened, Ekcol stood at the far end of the landing bay, in the deepest shadow.

Think of me, and I'll be there.

Nosferatu urged Kazer, "Come on, before they spot your ship..."

"They arn't gonna.... they are to busy going to their base. Also were under the drift of a dune... we can see them... but they can't see us..... and besides... this battle ship is sand colored" Kazer said.

Reno joined up with Hightor and Basil at the base of the Spire. "Ok Reno blast us in" Hightor said.

Reno used a powerful Aero spell which lifted them to the stop of the spire. they all climbed down the stepps into the base.

Raze stood on the end of the bow with his shoulder wound healed and with the dragon blades in his hand.

The ship came to a halt in the bay and the doors closed again. Then the lighting snapped on. Caught off guard, Ekcol blinked the blindness out of his eyes and tried to move behind a tool chest.

The trio sneaked down to the main hall and set up a barrier of tables half way through it. The then began to break off pieces of the wall and make ammo for Hightor. They also broke legs off of several chairs for throwing weapons for Basil.

Raze jumpped off the ship and looked around. "Strange.... I don't feel sick like I usualy do when Kazer is around" Raze said and walked right past Ekcol and through the main doors.

Sagax jumpped off after him and shook the ground when he landed.

"Everyone follow Raze. He is taking tactical command. Except you and Petra, father. Go to the brig and lock yourselves in. Crono, I want you to stay here too. Incase something goes wrong."
"Sir, you'll need a healer." Bathalmos reminded.
"Mani will have to suffice. I want the best man with my father. Clear? Move."

They almost raun to catch up. Ekcol continued well behind the group, hidden in what shadows he could find.

Dante?
Yes master?
If you find the one from the city, kill him. That body will be fine.
Yes master.

Dante entered by the same way as Kazer's team.

Raze walked out into the main hall and looked at the barricade of Tables. "Huh" he said.

Hightor smiled and stood up. He took a large block and threw it at Raze.

Raze twisted his body to dodge the block which crashed into the wall and broke into pieces right infront of Sagax. "Whoa?"

Reno stood up and fired a fire 3 spell at Raze.

Raze jumpped out of the way and ran back behind the opening. "Locke I need a Bow"

Locke unslung his bow and quiver and handed it over. He was a lousy shot anyway. signing something over his shoulder and then pointing, Fube darted quickly across the hall to the other side and knocked an arrow to her bowstring. Mani looked at Bathalmos.

"He's outside."
"Yes mistress, I know. We need those doors open."

Kazer smiled. "Time for the Ghost to rise.... Chaos... prepair the cannons... were doing some construction" Kazer said and lifted the ship from the ground. Chaos fired all the cannons on the port side at the spire.

Raze jumpped out from behind the wall and fired a bounce shot off the wall which hit Hightor's armor but did no damage.

Basil saw Fube comeing and started to hurl several chair legs at her.

Dante fired a Bio spell down the hallway. Locke had just started to cross over to where fube was, and was flung against the wall by it. Growloing, Ekcol emerged from the shadows, and kicked the Nu Mou so hard he flew out the door, followed by the feral veira.

Mani swore and fired Ensuna at Locke, who started to crawl for cover.

"Well, we got the door open."
"Mistress, if I may, we should fuse."
"Not until we have to."

{Yes, Manithalmos. Come to me. It was destined.}

Chaos fired the cannons again this time hitting the spire and shakeing it.

Crono called up on the radio. "Locke were not gonna last permission to take the ship out and fight"

Raze ran out and grabbed Locke and pulled him back into cover. "Locke there is no way the Defiant can stand up to the Ghost alone, it's built like the Damacus right down to the type of gauges it uses" Raze yelled.

Sagax, Scarum, and Kroova came up. "Well take the Stopdog out and help the Defiant keep the ship at bay untill you guys can take care of these bozos" Kroova said and without even listening they ran off.

Screaming with rage, Ekcol chased the Nu Mou all the way back to where the Ghost had been. He smashed Dante to the ground with a bare fist, taking out a long, thin, cruely curved knife.

Crono turned to Petra. "I can't fly this thing and fight at the same time. You fly and I shoot" Crono said and ran for the nearest cannon on the ship.

Kroova and Co. Jumpped onto the Stopdog and called to Petra. "Were ready when you are lets go shoot us a trophiee."

Petra made an executive decision, "Mr.LeCruset, please go catch up with your children."

The man fled the ship before she took off, making mental notes of all sorts of factors and flying so that Crono would always have a clear shot. Not that it would be hard, all the main guns could pivot 270 degrees.

Locke panted hard, "Dammit, you two! Take them out."
"Sorry, brother, I am trying."

Fube drew her katana, being out of arrows.

"Yea they got them selves covered mostly all angles." Raze said and shot several more Arrows which did nothing and drew the Dragon blades. He ran out and cut through a chair leg and shoulder tackled the tables knocking them over. He busted through the pile and started to slash left and right makeing sure not to hit Reno.

Kroova took the Stopdog out of the Defiant and Sagax and Scarum started to blast at the Ghost.

Crono got to the cannon and took a bad shot at the Ghost bit hit the underside.

Fube wass out in a heartbeat, attacking anything Crono missed, minus Reno.

Ekcol and Dante moved rapidly against eachother. Damn this sage was good.

Petra rolled the ship just slightly and fired a torepedo into the underside of the Ghost as they passed under.

Hightor and Basil backed off an ran to another safe spot.

Raze looked at Reno. "I need to get abck to the ship... Maria's body is there" Reno said

Raze's eyes opened up widely. "What?!?!"

Kazer spun the ship around and Chaos shot several cannons at the Defiant. "DIIIIIE"

The impacts rang off the steel hull, and Petra laughed, "Sorry Ender. I'm getting too old for wargames."

Still, she was an excellent pilot and brought the massive ship into a tight upwards spiral, a move that most SMALL ships couldn't pull off. Leveling out, she set a new mechanism to build up power.

Ekcol had his foot on the Nu Mou's chest, damascus at his throat.

"You can't kill me! I gave you a body! I gave you life!" the alchemist pleaded.
Ekcol sneared and sheathed the katana, turning to walk back towards where Locke had been, "A life for a life. The debt is repaid."

Reno knoded and dissappeared.

Raze looked at the path Hightor and Basil took to run then looked at the staircase to the roof. "I have to end this.... and I know the perfect way" Raze said and ran to the roof holding his radio. "Kroova pull back to0 the base and circle it before you re-enage Kazer's ship" Raze said.

"Aye aye sir" Kroova called back. He turned the ship around and Sagax shot another cannon shot which broke off another piece of the underside. Kroova spun the ship around the spire.

Before he went back to attacking Kazer's ship raze had jumpped off the spire and landed on the deck. He went to the bridge. "Head to the Defiant and get close to it so I can jump over" Raze said.

"Right" Kroova yelled and shot out from the Spire and flew towards the Defiant.

"Crono, what the hell are you doing? fire!"

As she flew evasivly she continued to adjust the other device. Ekcol returned to the Shadows nearby Locke.

Mani and bathalmost ran for the door at the top of the spire, jumping out. before they had even fallen ten feet, they were gone and Manithalmos was there.

I can see you, NOsferatu.
Dammit.

Crono fired a shot and it ripped through the hull near the Reactor on the Ghost.

"Chaos load the hook and take out the smaller ship" Kazer yelled.

Chaos loaded a sort of anchor into one of the cannons and waited for the signal to fire.

Kroova pulled up next to the Defiant and pulled away after Raze had jumpped onto it.

Raze went to the bridge and put his weapons on the floor. "Petra open the doors I'm takeing the buster out" Raze ordered and ran down to the hangar.

Sagax and Scarum saw and opening and fired a shot into the hole Crono made to make it bigger.

"NOW" Kazer yelled.

Chaos took aim and shot the anchor at the Stopdog hooking it and breaking up a large secton of the Hull. Kazer turned the ship hard to Port and started to fling around the Stopdog like a rag doll

Petra swore and pulled another lever to open the doors. Sliding in her wheeled chair over to another control panel, she counted down in her head against a stopwatch ticking away on the consol. When both counts hit zero she pulled a lever.

An arch of dark crimson lanced out from the Defiant, passing through the hole Crono made. Petra wheeled back over to the steering and slammed into a hard port turn.

Manithatlmos changed momentum to not get hit by the stopdog. It decided to stay close, because once that ship exploded, Nosferatu would no doubt have a body waiting somewhere.

The Ghost shook again and Chaos and Kazer both fell over. "Not this time" He said and pulled hard starboard and launched the Stopdog into a sand dune.

The Ship crashed with alot of damage to it but Kroova and Co were alright. "What happened?"
"Hook"

Raze got into the Buster and launched himself out the door and aimed it straight at the Ghosts reactor. He picked up the radio. "Petra.... I'm sorry..... I love you..." he said and blasted the small ship directly through the Ghosts hull, through the reactor and out the otherside of the ship and into a sand dune.

PEtra saw the maneauver, "RAZE!"

The hull shook, and she couldn't tell why. Then she remebered the Defiance Ray. Wheeling over, she shut it down before it blew the reactors.

Manithalmos sighed, "Come out come out whereever you are, Weapon."

Locke heard an explosion and got on his radio, "Defaint, maneuver to upper entrance. Defaint? Defiant?"

He looked at Fube, "That's odd..."
Issac looked at him, "What do we do about it?"
"How the hell should I know? I'm a houseson, not a frigging tactician!"

The Ghost rumbled and several parts fell from it. As it started to fall it made a large explosion spread debris everywhere.

Sagax watch the whole thing. "Raze...."

Crono looked at where the Buster had landed. "Raze....."

Thought it would be dificult to get such a large ship airbourne again, Petra brought the Defiant to rest nearbyu and jumped from the deck to the sands below, not bothering to sling on the heavy camo cloak.

"Raze!"

Locke was still on the radio, "Someone throw me a bone here!"

Manithalmos saw the wisp fleeing and turned, giving pursuit. It did not expect to get a mace to the face, and was momentarily stunned whilke Nosferatu began to inhabit yet another hand-grown body

Sagax grabbed the half dead radio. "Locke Raz ecrashed the buster into Kazer's ship" but even with the best radio all it sounded was. "cke Raze ....ashed..... bust..... Kazer's hip"

The Buster was half buried in the side of a sand dune. But the ship went so fast it was sticking out the other side with the cockpit almost tore off.

Ghost: Destroyed
Buster: 7%
Stopdog: 19%

Petra wormed her way through the crashed ship into the cockpit, "Raze!"

"I didn't get a word for that." Issac said unhelpfully.
"Me either." Locke agreed, heading for one of the lifts, "We'll have to head out on foot."
Naturally, Ekcol followed the now mobile clan.

Raze was knocked out and had a large cut across his fore head. Was bleedign from the mouth and noes. Had a broken arm and leg and also several fractured ribs. Raze moved his head slightly and opened his eyes. "H....ey" Raze spluttered out makeing more blood run from his mouth.

Crono jumpped off the ship and ran after Petra stumbling several times.

".... Locke can you hear me... Locke?" "cke can.... ou hear... e... Locke?" Sagax said several times.

Hightor and Basil both made it to the top of the tower both panting. "We lost them..." Basil said.

"Wrong" a voice said and 2 shots were fired. Basil and Hightor both fell from the top of the spire to the ground. Although they were dead before they even fell.

Locke got the message as he started running across the sand, "Not very well. Say again last message."

Petra was by him in a heartbeat, "Raze... [IMG]http://www.staredit.net/style_emoticons/default/censored.gif[/IMG]...."

She started looking for a potion in her belt pouch.

As Locke ran into the sand, Ekcol stopped in the doorway. He knew if he continued to follow he ran a good chance of being noticed.

Crono got to the crash. "Holy $|-|i7" he said and crawled to Raze and used Curaga which only healed a little bit.

Petra was crying as she tried to administer the X potion to him.

Locke made it to Sagax, "What's going on?"

Raze half drank the potion. "Ok ok I'm alright" he said although his speach was a little slurred.

"Raze crashed the buster into Kazer's ship's reactor which made it explode into several pieces." Sagax explained. "We don't know where Raze crashed yet. Were still waiting for Petra to call"

Sighing with relief, Petra grabbed her radio from her belt, "We're clear. I have no idea where we are though."

Locke swore, "EKCOL! Get out here!"

Almost at once the other man was there, "Go find Raze!"

He nodded and ran to where he saw the ship go down.
