Music blasted throughout the popular nightclub, he had landed a job as a bouncer. Pretty good for a man with no past, hoping to make a future. Things were slow, and relaxing as it was still a bit early.
The club was called The Hex. Named for it's obvious theme. The building, the bar, the dance floor, and furniture were all in the shape of a hexagon. The stage itself was a hexagon to allow viewing from all sides. To be up there was to be the envy of any musician in the city, and was the horror of anyone with the privilege to get there.
Taking a look around, Drudge felt a little, satisfied so to say, just to know that he was going somewhere again. He was a big man, his head was clean shaven. He wore a black business suit for work, which concealed the fact that his right arm was robotic. He wore sunglasses which hid his right eye which was also robotic. With this eye he was able to see where trouble would start, and the character of the person he was dealing with. In general, Drudge was a quiet man, who didn't like to have to force anyone to do anything. Cross him and you will feel a wrath. He was fair and respectful, and he expected the same in return.
Drudge noticed things start to pick up, "It's going to be a hell of a night.." He thought to himself as the doors opened and a few kids with face paint came in with a commotion. He stood back in the corner and waited.

Nightshade lifted her eyes to the entrance and watched demurely as a bunch of teenagers with face paint and wild eyes entered The Hex with a scuffle. She raised her glass and took a short sip before returning her attention to the conversation taking place around her. The group she was currently in the company of was a mix of vixens, with gold and diamonds draped from their necks, and suave gentlemen with smooth voices and cunning eyes. They were entertaining, but she hadn't dwelled with anyone group too long so far this night, and it was nearly time to move on.
The music was thumping through the floor; her foot tapped along against the aluminium chair leg.
clink, clink, clink
She wore an ankle length coat in snow white, it was a heavy material that glittered in the neon lights, cast a shade of lavendar by the UV houselights. The hood was thrown back to reveal her dark chocolate tressels and magenta eyes. Her face was dainty and her cheeks flushed rosy red with wine. She was the odd one out in her current company, but had enough elegance and class to slip into their conversation effortlessly. Under the obsecuring cloak she wore a light blue dress, that clung comfortably to her small form. She barely reached average height, but her stature did not keep her from asserting her authority. Hidden beneath the layers of cloth were tribal tattoos, interspaced with fantastical drawings; a phoenix, mermaid and serpent that curled along her arms and upper back.
clink, clink, clink
Her eyes roamed the large club, briefly lingering on the hexagon designed stage in the near center of the club, its lights were enticing and hypnotising. A band played their hearts out to the adulation of the crowd, but the music was not of any interest to her tonight. The gaze wandered into the shadows, spotting the security and indecent who mingled there. One particular man stood out, his lack of hair a noticeable feature, she pursed her lips as she tried to slip into his feelings...
clink, clink, clink

The zephyr was cool and relaxing. The city was alive and busy. The lights looked as if they were dancing from the rooftop of the apartment that Bill sat on. Bill was bored out of his mind, his legs dangling off the side of the building. He always thought that the way he would die would be to fall off this building and hit the ground below. He always imagined himself on the floor facedown in a plain white T-shirt and navy blue jeans on the street whenever the thought came into mind.
He emitted a low sigh and turned back to head down the stairs, and back into his room. His little apartment disappointed him, but thats what he had and thats what he was dealing with. He threw himself onto his bed without changing, his hair covering his face to his eyes. He liked his hair like that, he could sleep in school without any teacher knowing. It had always been helpful if he felt like shit that day.
He closed his eyes and fell alseep, as the bustling city continued its daily life without him.

The pace of the club picked up as the minutes passed. "There's going to be too many people in here to handle if things keep going the way they are, thank god nothing has happened yet." He said quietly to himself. Turning to look at the band playing, "They aren't half bad." he said as he watched and listened to the guitar solo.
Drudge then reverted his eyes back to the crowd in front, who seemed to be getting a little rowdy. "Nothing to worry about." As he started to scan the rest of the guests. "I wonder if there are any talent scouts here tonight." he said after glancing back at the band.
He scanned around the club and saw a young woman "Wow." He thought to himself, as he tried to get a reading on the status of her. "Why can't I pick anything up on her? My sensors are going crazy!" He looked away as his eye started to fizz out. "I think i need a drink.." he said as he started to walk towards the bar.

There was a tingle running down her spine as she felt his soul, he was something special. She made her excuses to her current company, ignoring the curt frown of a dark haired man who had kept a close eye on her for most of the evening. Nightshade wandered through the crowd, dodging chairs, tables and limbs on her way to the bar. She placed her half full glass on a passing tray only metres from the black marble bar, and then caught the bartenders eye, with a flirty smile and ordered a vodka.
Her eyes watched the security bloke make his way towards the bar, obviously in need of a stiff drink. She tracked his movements while avoiding his eye, and remaining unsuspicious, she hoped. The ankle length cloak billowed behind her as she span on one heel and made to move past him, a fresh beverage in hand.
An aura surrounded her, invisible to the naked eye of the mortals, it swayed and drifted around her, reaching with grasping hands towards her surroundings before drawing back into her body relaying critical information to her unconscious mind. Its greedy little claws struck out towards him as she passed, curious and devious.
"Very special indeed," she murmured with a dark smile on blood red lips.

Bill's lifeless body sprung upright, he couldn't sleep. With a sigh, he put on tan khaki pants and a white dress shirt, and of course leaving it untucked, walked slowly out of his apartment onto the loud bustling city streets. He wandered around for a while, losing his sense of direction. He had no idea where he was at, he was just crossing corners, allowing his feet to guide him. He appeared at the club "The Hex", the music was blasting and he could hear it loud and clear. He decided to walk in, thinking he would be able to ask for directions, however didn't really seem fit to do so. He decided he past the time here and slowly entered the club.

As Drudge made his way slowly over to the bar, he kept a careful watch throughout the club as to not miss a beat. Particularly on the one table of kids who seemed to slowly be getting rowdier. When suddenly he had a cold chill. He shivered and looked around quickly, but didn't see anything. " Damn things are weird tonight.. " He thought to himself. Then he looked back, and the kids were gone. " Now where did they go?" He said quietly.
As he made it to the bar, he was acknowledged. Bartender: " Hey Drudge, slow night huh?" "Yeah kindda, just keep getting weird feelings you know?" Bartender: " Yeah, it happens to the best of us, so what ya gonna have? " ' Just a soda.. I'm still on the clock. " Bartender: " Alright coming right up " " Thanks Joe. "
Drudge sat heavily on one of the barstools and turned around so he could see the band playing again. "They really aren't bad." When he looked at the door and saw a kid come in. "Man.. another one.. where'd those others go?" He said as he started scanning the crowd again.

The pulse of the club raced through her veins, it was distracting and hypnotising. The club felt larger than life, throbbing all around her as she moved towards the stage, her cloak pulled a little tighter. Something about the last vodka wasn't sitting well in her stomach, at least she hoped it was the vodka. She'd left the glass behind her and was now moving into the dance floor already nursing one aching toe.
She locked eyes with a guy and then moved to his side, losing herself in the heedy feeling of the music, the alcohol in her blood made it easy to give in to temptation. There were hands on her hips, pulling her closer and then she looked into dark red eyes. Her heart froze up and she brought her hand up between the two of them, a force of nature, wind punched out from her upright palm and into his stomach sending the man crashing through the crowd and sprawled onto the floor.
Nightshade took one glance at his enraged eyes from across the dance floor, and fanged grin before sprinting off the dance floor, dodging the other patrons with practised ease. She watched a group of kids slipping out the back door with another tall, dark and hansome man, and felt a shudder run through her spine. Suddenly as if someone had flipped a light switch, the auras of vampires were springing up all around her.
She shuddered with revulsion and some terror, jogging for the back door on a fool's errand to save a life. Her violet eyes pulsed with power, as she felt her veins turn to fire and blood pumping through her heart.
God I hate vampires..
Her arm shot through the security guys arm and dragged him with her, not bothering to explain, there was hardly time for that and she was sure he wouldn't believe her, mortals never did. She pulled him towards the door, surprisingly with little effort, given her tiny stature to his large one.

The warm air of the club was quite a change from the cold air outside. it felt as though his energy has been drained in the few seconds he was here. This aura he felt was strange, yet familiar. It felt like some strangers he past on his way here. The sight ahead of him was something you don't see everyday, a small, tiny women dragging around a man that seemed he was able to eat her if he wanted.
Bill wanted to get drunk, just pass out and wake up feeling just as shitty as he was, however, he doubt hed be able to get anything alcoholic. With a long sigh, he sat down on an empty table in the corner and decided to watch the women drag the guard around.

He sat and enjoyed his drink, still scanning the crowd when his sensors began to go wild on him again, "Something isn't right here." He said as he began trying to control them. Changing a channel, suddenly he could see certain people in different colors. Not knowing what to make of this he looked around. "If only I could remember.." He continued looking, most people would be a normal semi glow of white. But then some people seemed to put off a reddish glow. Then he saw the girl from before, really not knowing what to make of her, being an extremely bright white glow. He looked at the kid who had recently come in and he had the same glow, or so it seemed.
Drudge noticed the woman dancing with one of the guys with the red glow, when suddenly the man seemed to fly across the room. " What the..?!" All of a sudden all of the red glows seemed to get brighter. Starting to feel overwhelmed by this new found sensor, he was suddenly grabbed and being dragged toward the back door. He was even more supprised to learn of who was doing the dragging. Time seemed to stop as everything happened so fast, but the club began to have an uproar."This can't be good. He thought to himself as he waited to see where he was being lead to.

They slammed through the backdoor of the club, it clanged loudly against the brickwork startling the groups of teens up a head who were laughing and enjoying the weed just offered to them by the good looking, dark haired man from the club. Nightshade headed in there direction, letting go of the security guy's arm as she strode forward. Her hair flew out behind her, in absent wind, her eyes alight.
The vampire narrowed his eyes as he caught sight of her, his honey eyes bled crimson, enlongated fangs grew from his mouth... shadows attached to him like cobwebs. The teens were laughing and chattering, too high to realise the sudden danger.
The vampire struck out at the nearest, a fair haired young man and ripped out his throat with one quick hand movement. There was no screaming from the man, child really. The other teens began to scream and stumble backwards. The body slumped to the ground.
Nightshade threw her hands out in front of her, fire erupted from her palms in twirling streams of flame and heat, lashing towards the dark creature.
"Get them out of here," she shouted to the security bloke without turning her head.

Bill nearly jumped out of his seat when he felt cold arms wrap around his waist. "Shhh, relax... This won't hurt at all." The cold voice of a women sounded in his ear, so low, yet so clear. Bill became paranoid, he realized the situation he was in. He didn't have to turn and look to realize what was holding him. The aura that felt so familiar, he finally noticed why: they were vampires.
He tried to stay calm and collective, but that failed completely. He threw off the arms that were holding him back and ran as fast as he could for the door. His eyes were clutched shut, and only opened for the second in which he collided into the door with a loud thud. He threw the door open, the icy air rushed inside the club for the few seconds before he slammed it back, as if testing to see how much the door would be able to take before breaking off its hinges.
He ran blindly, as fast as his feet would be able to carry him. He didn't know where he was going, he just ran straight forward. He felt his shoulder hit something, he nearly lost his balance as he spun around, his eyes flashed open in an instant to be staring down on a freshly made corpse surrouded in a pool of blood, which Bill could clearly see. Well, thats something you just don't see everyday... Wait, why can I see something so clear at this time of night?
He looked up and saw the abnormally strong women in front of him, before sliding back into the body on the ground and ruining his clothes. He was drenched in someone else's blood, it made him feel sickening, but that wasn't his biggest concern. He felt immense heat coming from behind, and turned his head to what seemed to be a brightly lit person covered in flames.
