tree hill is just a place somewhere in the world. a place, that no matter where you go, will always be there. always be home. last year, lucas scott, peyton sawyer, brooke davis, nathan scott, and his wife haley james scott, reunited back at home. they had their lives, but they weren't perfect. they had not ended up the way they had always dreamed. some struggled, while others searched for the answers to questions they were too afraid to ask. some found love, while others only found heartache. but regardless of where their lives had taken them, everything always led them back to tree hill.

nathan scott finally made it to the nba, after missing out on his chance more then once. brooke davis found love in julian baker, and finally found a mother in a woman who never seemed to care enough. haley james scott, despite putting her desire to teach behind her, returned to the classroom in an attempt to make a difference. marvin mcfadden returned to the sports desk with girlfriend, millicent huxtable supporting him from the sidelines. and while life continues to throw them curveballs, the lives of the teenagers at tree hill high school continue to grow more and more complicated. it is as if nothing has ever changed. but is it a beginning or an end?

with every new beginning comes an end, and it was with that notion that lucas and peyton scott chose to leave tree hill as a family. but while the newlyweds begin their life together, life continued for those in north carolina. new loves, new losses. new friendships, new enemies. and despite the chaos life brings, one thing will never change. there is only one tree hill, and it is their home.
