You have stumbled upon an original modern day Science Fiction/Fantasy role play that takes place both on the distant desert planet Evos, and your very own Earth.

All adventure seeking minds are welcome here. There is no role play skill level or experience requirement. Beginners to advanced role players are welcome to join.

Second rock from Nehova, the red sun. Evos is a desolate desert planet with a thick atmosphere, the only thing enabling life to exist on a world too close to their star. However the only area on Evos known to hold life is in the caldera, which protects the people from the extreme weather conditions that exist on Evos. Even though the only known population of Evos are contained within the calandra these people are divided.

The people of the Upper Faction, living on the surface, are a superstitious people kept from conflict by the calm ruling of the House of Evon, prizes art and beauty above all else. Their society is similar to that of Old Earth�s Provincial kingdoms. The Upper faction does have an advanced form of technology, solely powered by the planet�s sun, though it is used solely for practical purposes.

The people of the Lower Faction, living below the surface, preside under a form of totalitarian government, ruled entirely by the military. They are a very logic based people, leaving little room for the �mystical flights of fancy� one finds in the Upper Faction. It is this trait that leads to their own technological advances.

Despite the two factions being so dissimilar, peace was maintained . . . until an emissary from a neighboring communist planet intervened, causing unrest, before allying with the Lower Faction. With peace broken the Lower Faction invaded the Upper. The war had begun . . .

Third rock from Sol, the yellow sun. Earth has become a chosen crossroads and sanctuary. This seemingly primitive planet has been deemed an interplanetary �safe zone� by all beings; except, perhaps, by those born of the planet itself. Most every being in the known and even the unknown universe has at least some knowledge of the place. Many have passed through it temporarily on their way to other places, and many have chosen to stay and call it home, keeping hidden from the wary eyes of Earth�s �original� inhabitants.

However, only certain places on Earth can still truly be called 'safe.' These places are scattered throughout the planet holding refuge for specific types of inhabitants. Washington, USA is one of the very rare areas where all, paranormal Earth residents, interplanetary visitors, and interplanar beings alike, mingle in a single location. Because of this, Aveis Academy was built long ago as a school and place of rest for all who are a bit more than just 'human.'
