Still Searching

[Joshua]

Josh wondered throughout the streets..maybe she was here...somewhere...in this country...he hoped. His suit was undone and some of his dark hair stuck to the side of his face..he just couldnt stand the heat.. In his search though..he couldnt help but notice the poor conditions of other slaves...their clothes and the bruises all over them...what type of people where the royals of this kingdom? Noticing a small slave girl whom was blind selling apples on the street he stooped over and asked in his strange accent...since he was from the same country as Siyon [I cant do accents ...so >.> Bleh], "How much ist thus ahpple?"

The girl blinked up her clouded eyes at him and responded with a weak, "Five dollars.."

Josh blinked...five dollars for a single apple?! "Zat ish outr-...hur take zish twenty..keep tha shange.." It was whatever was left of his earnings..but he was just glad he could help the poor girl. The girl actually smiled at him before handing him the bruised apple, "She ju.." Waving slightly, only because she couldnt see him, he turned and left, to look for Siyon..sinking his teeth into the (not-the-best-quality) apple.

Taboo strolled down merchant street, still getting farmiliar with this place's attributes and surroundings and such. She put her hands behind her head, this place seemed so pathetic, why keep people in this state? the place was only going to get worse the way it was going. She sighed and looked to the side, just nothing more but people shopping and such. She then looked to the other side, her curiousity about to diminish from this place so she may go to another before a certain couple of peopl caught her eyes.
She stopped in her tracks, watching the man hand the girl a twenty for an apple that wasnt even in the best condition, she smiled faintly, at least others were trying to help others out. As the man began to walk away she picked up her walking pace, tapping him on the shoulder lightly, her smile grew. "That was very generous of you sir" She commented, wanting to thank him, even though she had nothing to thank him for personally, she just felt she had to.

"Et twas nu pro-blem.." Josh replied, a gently smile coming to his lips which caused his paled yellow eyes to close slightly. As he was taught, he gave a small bow to the lady, "Tis well to meet ju..I jam naamed Joshua.."

BIC- Taboo blinked, She likey the accent. "My name is Taboo, Its nice to meet you Joshua." She said, bowing slightly in greeting to him. "Are you new here? or no?" She asked, she felt to be the only new person around here, ack..the feeling of a noob really didnt sit well with her, hence why she was trying to find others that were new arrivals, sort of mean she supposed, but oh well, a bit late to stop now.

"Likewize, Ms. Jaboo..." Josh smiled warmly at her, before glancing around at the nearby crowd, "Jea...I hav arrived frum a cuntry quite a bit ajawy frum jere..I jam luuking for sumone.." Normally, the very polite Josh would have not rushed the conversation like that..but he was kindof in a rush to find Siyon and take her back home because of he had nothing left besides the clothes on his back..since he gave the last of his money up to the little girl.

Taboo seemed to be running into people who are trying to look for others, she then sighed slightly, alright, she will make the offer once again. "I could help you look for whoever you need to find, that is if you want my help of course" She offered, smiling faintly. Help help help is all she did, ah well, she was happy with what she did in her life, she would help anyone who needed it so it wasnt all that bad.

Joshua's smile faded slightly, seeing her reaction..yes she was smiling but it was faintly there..which didn't make him feel anybetter, "No..I juess I can put ja search on 'old...I need to rest a bit anjways.." Josh looked around once more, "Do ju want to do sumthing with me?"

Taboo blinked, why did he change his mind? she just shrugged off the thought, her smile becoming a bit more visible. "Um, sure I guess so" She said. "What is it that you want to do?" She asked, tilting her head slightly in curiousity.

Josh shrugged lightly, "I do not knuw...Hav ju been arund here lung enugh to knuw?"

Taboo shook her head. "Nope, I only know of two places, and the other place I know of really, you could only watch boats and ships float by and such, sorry" She said. "I mean, unless you want to wing it and go over to some other area then yeah, lets go for it" She added, smiling slightly.

" 'Wing it'?" Josh questioned, never having heard that expression before, " Sum ofter place sunds gud." He smiled warmly at her in return.

Taboo grinned, "You foreign people rule" She said and chuckled lightly, taking ahold of his hand she began to walk down the street, practically dragging him behind her. "We should go to a place where none of the guards would go to, somewhere safe yet fun..hmm" She said, putting a finger to her lips in thought, well hopefully they'd get to a place like that.

Josh picked up his pace..as not to be dragged around, "We cud ajways gu outside ja citee...there shud be nu jaurds thure.." He shrugged slightly, trying to help...though he was sure he wasn't doing a good job.

"True true, alrighty, outside of the city we go then" She said happily, looking over to Joshua. "You do know what way that is right?" She asked him, giggling a bit nervously.

Josh grinned slightly, glad to be some help but when Taboo asked her next question his grin kindof slipped off his face, "Nu clue...but if je gu down a rood je cud possibly cum to ja citee lemets (limits).."
